Rustic Slate House Gate Sign Plaque Door Number Personalised Name Laser Engraved

The number on the sign definitely looks white on the pictures (probably of using flash light), but it actually is grey! That is very weird because you ask yourself why would anyone do that - it’s much less visible and the contrast is not very sharp.Also we ordered our house number plus a letter A, but they didn’t print it as a capital letter and so it could be read as an e or a 0, too.I wanted to return the sign but was then expected to pay for postage, so I just kept it without using it. Sorry to say, but waste of money 😕

I ordered for the smaller oval plaque - pleased with the quality of packaging and the actual product. Have to say it doesn't come with matching nails to fit them on the wall - so you might want to take it to the store (if you a non-diy like me) and get help in finding the right nail to fix on the wall. Once fixed - it looks neat on the outside, and hopefully will last us long

At first I was concerned because I could not see anywhere to write what to put on the name plate After sending an e mail regarding my concern and what I would have liked to put on the name plate I recieved the item and there it was I was delighted

Strange way to order as no option or instructions to give house details you want.I was disappointed at first I didn't have chance to say what don't if like but arrived quickly and I'm happy with it.looks very nice although can't read it at night due to colour of lettering. Think if whit would stand out better.i would def recommend.

The slate is heavy and excellent quality. It arrived very promptly and in excellent condition. However... and this is a huge BUT... the looks very unprofessional. The words were different font sizes and were unevenly positioned, off centre. The number 1 looks more like the number 7. When you choose the font etc that you want, they don’t let you see a proper proof but they say the image is a guide and that they’ll use their professional judgment to create it. In this instance I’m not happy with the final result and I think it lacks care and attention to detail.

Delivery was quick, however writing is grey/sand not white as it appears in the photos. No fixings included. Layout of numbers & street name could be improved - centralised, larger and not such a big gap between the two rows of my address. Not particularly impressed, wouldn't recommend. Plaque will do for now but will replace it eventually.

Arrived promptly with spelling as requested.I found that the text was not as well defined as I hoped, however, it will suffice for our house and we have purchased a more prominent model for the end of our driveway: it isn't bad, it just isn't quite bold enough to stand out enough for our needs - I thought the the lettering would be more distinct than what it is - not a criticism!

You get what you pay for ... this was a cheap nameplate and it shows ... the slate itself if fine ... but the “printing” is not. The colours shown on the screen do not reflect the actual colour of the writing on the slate, so make sure you only choose white if you want it to show up. The printing of the name of the house is not “level” on the slate - it slopes downwards. If you aren’t looking for a quality finish this will do fine - but it looks like a poor quality job! UPDATE: following feedback to the seller they offered to refund or replace and asked me to delete the review. I have refused to delete the review becuase it is a fair representation of the product and others should be aware to order white writing rather than grey - however I am completely satisfied with the way in which the seller dealt with the issue once it was raised
