As a small publishing company we get through a lot of thermal binding covers and usually buy GBC which is a better known brand in this field. However, we discovered that GBC thermal binders are not as reliable or consistent (at least at 15mm size) so we decided to switch to PAVO and the PAVO 15mm are 100% better, perfect bindings. Another advantage over GBC is PAVO has a slightly larger binding edge cover so if you use extra glue in your bindings it's more easily hidden and less likely to seep out on the cover page as it often does with GBC covers which have a smaller binding edge cover. The quality is pretty much the same as GBC in terms of material and durability but they're often a lot cheaper.

I have a Unibind thermal binding system and they have changed their covers so you now apparently need a crimping device to make their new covers work, therefore you have to purchase a new binding machine at the cost of £300+ Before you do this I can say these PAVO covers are fab and a fraction of the cost. Just keep a steelcrystal cover and pop in in the machine at the same time (I think the steel makes the binder switch the heat on). Wish I had thought of this years ago I would have saved a fortune!

For what I want them for it will be fine and for the price you get more than you would elsewhere. I'm disappointed that they are a cream colour because it states white on the add and picture. They don't look like the one on the picture either. Oh well maybe next time they will be right.

I bought these with the clear intention of cutting them down to A5. I don't know whether it is economies of scale but the less popular A5 format is more expensive not less. Cutting throught the spine is a little difficult but done carefully gives a satisfactory result. Despite being glossy and apparently plastic coated the white margin and back of the cover is not. Any contact with marg or oil will become manifest as oily spots likewise for biscuit crumbs.

VERY good quality, I have previously bought the ones by GBC and when putting the paper in, then after heating them up, I'd have to bend the front cover and spine to accommodate the paper. With the PAVO ones, they have a square edge spine, so there's no need to try and get the loose edges of the 'book' to match, which creates a curve of the pages. PAVO is, in my opinion, far better quality. I'm going to 'mothball' the GBC ones and replace them with the PAVO ones.

Las he recibido un poco tarde pero merece la pena, caben algo mas de 100 hojas, en un formato muy simple pero bueno para presentaciones.

Neu kostet dieses Produkt über 50€ (zumindest als ich es kaufen wollte), ich habe es über Amazon Warehouse für 10€ bekommen, der einzige defekt war nur, die Verpackung war schon aufgerissen, mehr aber nicht. Inhalt war 1A in Ordnung. Gerne wieder Warehouse. Und die Thermobindemappen sind auch sehr Stabil, sofern man nicht zu viele Blätter versucht damit zu binden. Aber Ich konnte damit auch 150 Blatt á 80g/m² binden, ohne dass die Klebewirkung nachgelassen hat. Ich drucke sehr viel aus und binde diese dann. Diese Mappen sind für meine Zwecke voll in Ordnung, kann sie mit gutem Gewissen weiter Empfehlen.

Il prodotto l’ho trovato davvero ottimo e certamente lo ricomprerò, 5 stelle. Non sono però soddisfatta della consegna, a cui non darei nessuna stella. Pur essendo presente e pur essendo l’indirizzo ben identificato, il corriere non ha proprio suonato il campanello: si è fermato, ha guardato, ed è andato oltre. L’ho dovuto raggiungere io, per strada, mentre faceva altre consegne nella via, dopo aver ricevuto la mail di mancata consegna… Suonare il campanello per consegnare un pacco mi sembra davvero l’indispensabile da fare.
