Does what it says it will do. Limescale was gone just after 1 use. I did not really notice a strong smell. It’s easy to use although tablets might be more convenient. My kettle as good as new again.

The Ecozone Kettle & Iron Descaler works reasonably well and does remove limescale after a couple of uses. It’s easy to apply and I like that it’s positioned as a more eco-friendly option compared to harsher chemical descalers. That said, the results weren’t instant. For heavier limescale buildup, I had to repeat the process, which was a bit disappointing. The smell is also quite strong while in use, so good ventilation is recommended. Overall, it’s an okay product that does what it claims, but it may not be powerful enough if your kettle or iron is heavily scaled. Fine for light to moderate buildup, but I’ve used more effective descalers in the past.

I live in a hard water area and was quite sceptical about this, as I’ve tried multiple products before that haven’t managed to remove the limescale from the bottom of my kettle. I boiled the kettle, left it for a couple of minutes, then added the sachet. I actually left it the product in the kettle for over an hour (completely forgot about it!), and when I came back, all the limescale had completely dissolved & inside of my kettle looked brand new. Honestly, I was shook! No scrubbing or effort needed at all. Amazing product, highly recommended.

Worked ok with a second treatment and the chrome insert in the bottom of the hobbs kettle shines once more. The descaler is not as strong as I expected nor did it fizz anything like you expect from the instructions, reheating did not make it fizz much at all so perhaps it has a lot less active ingredient than when first made and instructions were written. Still, does what it says and cleans most of the scale away. I would say that heavy scaling would need the whole pack to finish the job properly (3 treatments not all at once of course).

I haven't descaled my kettle in almost a year. This product worked great and was easy to do. I had to treat it twice. I found boiling the water once it had started to cool helped remove excess limescale. Will buy again. No nasty after taste.

We have very hard water and my kettle gets pretty nasty over time. The tabs do a great job!!! Easy to use with zero affect on taste. Make my kettle spotless.

Set off my fire alarm while steaming all the nasty out of my iron. Genuinely surprised by the amount of crap that came out. It takes awhile to fully steam out your iron but this was so worth it!
