I recently purchased the Sony A6700 and I can honestly say I’m extremely satisfied with this camera. In my opinion, it’s currently the best APS-C camera on the market. The image quality is outstanding. The 26MP sensor delivers sharp, detailed photos with beautiful colors and impressive dynamic range. Low-light performance is also excellent for an APS-C camera. The autofocus system is incredibly fast and accurate — subject tracking and AI-based detection (including eye AF for humans, animals, and birds) work flawlessly. It makes capturing moving subjects very easy and reliable. For video, this camera is simply amazing. 4K footage is oversampled and looks incredibly detailed, and features like 10-bit recording and advanced profiles give a lot of flexibility for color grading. It feels like a professional filmmaking tool in a compact body. The build quality is solid and the camera feels premium in hand. Despite its small size, the grip is comfortable and the battery life is very good. The in-body image stabilization is another big plus, especially for handheld shooting. Overall, I highly recommend the Sony A6700 to anyone looking for a powerful, modern APS-C camera for both photography and video. The lens is amazing. I took it to London in the evening to test its low-light performance and was really impressed. We first went to Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill to photograph the church and the beautiful light displays. Sadly, I can’t share the photos. I had my Sony A6700, a Tamron macro lens, a Sigma 18–55 mm f/2.8 lens, and a Sony E 15 mm f/1.4 lens in a bag placed in the boot of my car. We then drove to Elm Place in South Kensington for a walk with my wife. When we returned, the rear windscreen had been smashed and the bag was gone. It appears we were followed. Please be careful, everyone — thieves are actively targeting people to steal hard-earned equipment.

I loved my previous camera but it just wasn't doing it for me after I used the Sonay Aiii at Uni. Took me a bit to save up but it's 100% worth it for me. I'm still getting used to the extra buttons (e.g. photo to video switch) but there's a lot of potential to be quite efficient if you're a hybrid shooter like I am. I mostly take photos and videos of my dogs so the Autofocus on animal eye tracker has been a game changer. Plus the 4k recording is nice if you want to make social media posts but also landscape videos. Battery life is okay, I'll be getting extra batteries for day trips, especially if you're filming. The camera itself is quite small I'd say, the grip feels natural. I was tempted to get a full frame but having a more compact camera just feels less awkward and more practical. The screen I'm still getting used to. It's nice but I keep folding it the wrong way which sounds dumb but ye...

Finally upgraded from my old A6000 and what an improvement. The focus performance is miles better. The flip screen, although I'm an eyepiece user, the screen does come in handy for some of the tricky shots. The battery seems to last an age. I'm just all round impressed. I should have upgraded as soon as it came out but I held off. I did get £100 cashback from Sony as was the offer. It didn't actually advertise that on the Amazon site but the Sony site showed it when I registered the camera, then it was a couple of months wait before I could claim and another month for it to be paid. I think that I'm sure that I'm glad that I didn't go full frame... I like reach and I still think the 750mm equivelent that I have now is not enough...

I’m genuinely impressed with this camera. The autofocus is unbelievably fast and accurate, the image quality is crisp, and the color science feels natural right out of the camera. The body feels premium but lightweight, making it easy to carry all day. I mainly use it for food and travel photography, and the results are professional-level. The menu system is much improved and intuitive. For anyone looking for a compact hybrid camera that punches way above its size, this is it. Highly recommended.

Le Sony A6700 est un excellent choix pour les vidéastes et photographes en quête de polyvalence et de qualité d’image, avec une définition 4K nette et une mise au point rapide. J’ai utilisé ce boîtier avec plusieurs objectifs, dont un Helios 44-2 monté grâce à une bague d’adaptation. L’interface intuitive et l’autofocus très réactif m’ont permis d’obtenir de superbes résultats pour des films de portrait et de street photo. Cependant, un point à prendre en compte : la surchauffe. Lors de l’enregistrement vidéo, le A6700 chauffe très rapidement, en particulier lors de tournages prolongés en 4K ou en haute définition (comme le 60 fps). Après seulement quelques minutes, un message de surchauffe apparaît, et l’enregistrement s’arrête. C’est un inconvénient majeur pour des sessions vidéo longues, surtout si vous prévoyez de filmer sans interruption pendant un certain temps. Cela dit, pour les vidéos courtes ou les enregistrements en intérieur avec des pauses régulières pour laisser refroidir l’appareil, le A6700 reste performant. Mais pour des sessions prolongées, je recommande de privilégier des réductions de la résolution ou de filmer en 1080p afin de minimiser la chaleur générée, ou d'investir dans un système de refroidissement externe ! Le montage d’un objectif vintage comme l’Helios ajoute un charme particulier à l’image, mais cela n’empêche pas la surchauffe. En résumé, c’est un très bon appareil pour la vidéo court-métrage et les projets d’initiation, mais il nécessite des pauses régulières pour éviter la surchauffe.

La entrega como siempre fue muy rápida, de un día para otro al ser miembro Prime. Se nos entrega en una caja sellada y en el interior podemos ver que el plastico ha desaparecido, así como el uso de papel solo es reciclado con el único fin de cuidar el medio ambiente. Este tipo de cámara APS-C era la que Sony tenia un poco descuidada pues desde la salida de su Hermana pequeña la A6600 allá por el año 2019, no han sacado más en este formato y era de esperan una renovación o modelo nuevo por parte de la empresa. Con la salida de este modelo, la A6700 Sony a puesto las cartas sobre la mesa y ha sacado un producto que es muy bueno sacando fotografías y como no también video. Sus menú ha mejorado bastante pero ojo a las personas que ingresan como nuevas en esta marca, al principio les parecerá un poco lioso pero con el paso del tiempo y su uso se acostumbran, te aseguro que está todo muy bien organizado, ademas de tener la posibilidad de personalizar tus ajustes mas usados en menús con accesos rápidos, uno para el formato de Foto y otro distinto para Video. Es compatible con objetivos de formato completo y los propios del formato APS-C así que el abanico de ópticas se duplica, aunque no aprovechas todas las características que te da la óptica de formato completo. Han incorporado por fin la rueda en la parte frontal de la empuñadura a la cual tu puedes poner el uso que desees, como pasa con el resto de botones y ruedas que esta tiene, todos son personalizadles. Otra de las novedades que se incluyen en esta nueva cámara es la pantalla qu en esta se puede abatir y girar hasta 180º. Muy útil para las personas que hacen videoblog y quieren verse mientras se están grabando. A nivel tecnico las mejoras son muchísimas, desde su nuevo sensor de 26MP que aunque no llegue a los 42-48MP que tienen otras de la competencia son más que suficientes para sacar fotos con calidad suficiente para poder recortar sin tener pixelado, vamos, que a mi como profesional que soy aunque no le doy este uso a la cámara, me es suficiente y hasta me sobra. Otra de las novelas es que hereda todo el sistema de enfoque con Inteligencia Artificial IA, de su hermana mayor, la Sony A7R V una cabra que cuesta mas de 5000 euros, con un menú y posibilidades totalmente idéntico. Vamos una maravilla que no hay ninguna cámara en el mercado que lo supere, sobre todo en rapidaex de enfoque, es bestial en cualquier situación. Y no me explayo más, ya he dicho que hay montones de reviews y videos en la red de redes en los que podéis ver y comparar yo desde luego como profesional del medio audiovisual estoy muy contento con la compra y forma parte ya de mi equipo Pro de uso amateur, porque sí soy profesional pero estas cosas las uso a nivel particular y solo me queda decirte que ánimo, ve a por ella que no te va a defraudar ni en foto ni en video, da una calidad tremendamente buena en ambos modos y con infinidad de posibilidades por no decir objetivo/opticas compatibles con ella y si usamos algún adaptador para la montura ya ni os cuento.
