This SIM provider is an outstanding solution for simplicity (pun intended) affordability, and support. Needed to set up a hotspot for nanny-cams to monitor my mother-in-law who has dementia. Chose spectrum, and have been thrilled with my decision. Not only was the initial activation a surprising breeze, the subscription options were perfect for my budget. Spectrum recently updated their network which required updating my SIM chip. They sent me a new SIM (free) and transferred my account settings and existing data balance over to the new chip. The process was seamless with virtually no interruption in service; very important factors given the function this provides. Throughout the process, order, shipment, installation, etc, Maria at Spectrum Customer Service, held my hand and answered all my silly questions; often within minutes of my emails! This level of service is becoming increasingly rare these days!! My hats off to Spectrum, as a company, and especially to Maria as an exemplary representative!

Had some trouble setting it up on my Laptop with a SIM slot. After a few days of working with their support, it turns out it was on their end. They admitted their mistake, and promptly fixed it. Now my laptop is online and working great, so I'm ready for no Wifi now with built in cellular in my Laptop. Very happy so far, only thing that could have been better was the activation issue on their end, but it was resolved after a few days. Seems like a great deal at a great price.

Worked great in the USA. Not at all in Mexico. Tried everything and customer service was great. They refunded untouched data plan.
