Simply the best.
This is top-quality woodstain, unfortunately rather expensive but, in my opinion, worth it. You see woodstain in stores at prices like £5 for a 5 litre plastic tub and I've bought that stuff before: there is no comparison. Cheap stain washes off in a single season and really isn't worth the effort involved in putting it on. Ronseal goes on and stays on, looking good for years. Be aware that it's quite watery on first application, if you are not careful you will have it splattered everywhere, and this dark mahogany looks purple for the first couple of minutes before it begins to cure in the air, turning a lovely deep colour. Dries well enough for re-coating in about 45 minutes. Three coats are recommended by the manufacturer, I've got away with two coats without problems, at thirty-odd quid a tin you need to save money where you can! This is one of those products that, once you've used it, you can never go back. In my opinion the best money can buy. Recommended.

Ronseal wood paint is excellent to use, colours are excellent and protects wood.

Amazing product
Easy to use, super fast drying even in damp weather and completely weatherproof hardwearing finish. Water soluble so brushes wash out under the tap. Couldn't wish for anything better.
