Well I bought this on a whim and when I took it out of the box I thought, “oh god, what’s this rubbish toy I’ve bought?!” The build looks and feels very cheap and toy-like but when I switched it on I was very pleased: obviously it’s just a (very) cheap little radio but the sound quality is relatively excellent- nicely tuned speaker gives some of the best audio quality on fm I’ve heard in a radio of this size: certainly better than most similar radios. AM reception is terrible where I live on this sort of radio so no 5Live or Talksport for me on this but very nice sound on fm and fm reception is very good even without the aerial extended. Battery performance: I’ve timed this on a pair of very old (15 years old or so) Eneloops and it ran for just over 52 hours straight - I’m sure it’s do even better on newer batteries - very good battery performance 👌 Surprisingly good little radio, this, for a pocket money price. Stick one in your nuclear fallout shelter ready for when the war comes.

Really good solid radio. Good sound. Batteries last a long time. Compact enough to place in bags and suitcases. This is my second purchase. Bought one for a family member which they use constantly.

Has good sound and pickup of stations. Not sure if radio has a gain on frequency so stations are received weaker signals. If it does it only works sort of. If good signal is apparent then great sound. I received better performance on am wavelength. Is a good purchase but don't expect much of a signal on fm if hills or in a remote place. Is handy size for bug pockets and backpack, very light in weight with battery.

Having a grandchild who likes to fall asleep listening to the radio this was a quick purchase prior to a sleepover. Despite its low price and plastic finish it has proved to be much better than expected. Not too tinny, good battery life and easy to operate, it has proved to be surprisingly robust and a good buy. Recommended!

Right here goes radio light and looks cheap but sound quality excellent but for me the main downside is the batteries only last a day if using radio.I have on all day while I work outside it’s going to cost me tons of money so look for a radio that lasts with batteries or one that can be recharged

I am delighted to add my 5 Stars to the wealth of favourable reviews that have already been posted. Yes, the Tendak is a little bit flimsy, but you can accept that when you get a faultless performance at such an astonishingly low price. FM reception is crystal clear, tuning is easy, and volume is very satisfactory. There is no way I would want to swap this for a bigger or heavier model.

Great little radio for its price point. Only drawback some stations can be hard to tune in due to a small bandwidth on some it seems. Again for the price its definitely worth the purchase

He estado usando esta radio portátil Tendak durante varias semanas y me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Es compacta, fácil de manejar y funciona exactamente como esperaba para una radio de bolsillo. 🔹 Señal y recepción La antena telescópica es bastante larga para el tamaño de la radio, lo que ayuda mucho a captar señales FM y AM de forma estable. La radio tiene un chip DSP antiinterferencias, según varias fuentes, lo que mejora la sensibilidad de la señal y reduce el ruido estático. Muy buena para emisoras locales o para sintonizar noticias y música sin depender del móvil. 🔹 Diseño y comodidad Es muy pequeña y ligera, perfecta para llevar en la mano, colgar con la correa incluida o meter en una mochila. El altavoz integrado tiene suficiente potencia para llenar una habitación pequeña: el sonido es claro para una radio tan compacta. Tiene toma para auriculares de 3,5 mm, lo que me permite escuchar en privado si no quiero molestar a los demás. 🔹 Fuente de alimentación Funciona con dos pilas AA, lo que es muy práctico porque puedes usar pilas recargables o normales dependiendo de lo que tengas. Esto la hace ideal para emergencias, campamentos o momentos sin electricidad (como el apagón que hubo) no depende de estar enchufada para funcionar. 🔹 Uso práctico Es perfecta para llevar a caminatas, viajes, para tener en el bolso mientras cocinas, o incluso para tener como radio de emergencia. La sintonización es sencilla: el dial para cambiar de emisora es intuitivo y no se complica; tampoco hace falta configurar nada raro para empezar a usarla. Su tamaño mini pero funcional me da mucha libertad para usarla donde quiera, sin renunciar a una buena experiencia de radio. ⚠️ Cosas a tener en cuenta Al depender de pilas AA, tienes que controlar cuándo recargarlas o cambiarlas si la usas mucho. No es una radio de gama alta: no tiene opciones de conectividad moderna (bluetooth, USB, etc.), ya que su objetivo es justamente ser simple y portátil. Al ser pequeña, no tiene una potencia altísima, pero para su propósito cumple perfectamente. --- Conclusión: Esta radio de Tendak es una opción excelente si buscas algo sencillo, portátil y confiable para escuchar AM/FM sin depender del móvil. La señal es buena, el diseño es muy práctico y me da una sensación de “radio clásica con una chispa moderna”. La recomiendo para quienes valoran lo funcional por encima de lo sofisticado, y para quienes necesitan una radio de bolsillo para viajes o uso diario.

Letztens war ja Bundeswarntag. Der Tag wo alle Sirenen und Handys Probealarm gemacht haben. Da viel mir ein, ich hätte im Notfall ja nicht Mal ein einziges Radio mit dem ich UKW (FM) Rundfunk empfangen könnte.😅 Dieses Radio macht da genau das richtige. Perfekt als eben solches Notfall Radio. Batterie betrieben und daher unabhängig vom Stromnetz. Der Empfang ist Glas klar. Der kleine verbaute Lautsprecher klingt sogar überraschend gut, was ich bei der Größe und dem Preis des Radios nun überhaupt nicht erwartet hatte.🤯 Für den Preis eine absolute Empfehlung.
