This review is of the LENCENT Foldable US to UK Ireland Plug Adapter. We bought it to use on a two week visit to the UK and it performed very well. With 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C receptacles my wife and I were never short of USB connections when charging our phones and other devices. The 3.4 amp total capacity isn't super high but our phones charged more quickly than they do at home in the states. I really liked the folding UK plug, no worries of it poking a hole in a backpack or getting broken off in transit. It seems solid and well made. This and a handful of cables is all you need for a trip to the UK. Take the 1-star reviews with a grain of salt. Many are from folks who did not follow directions and plugged their 120V devices into the USA style receptacles, which are connected to the 230V UK mains. This unit is NOT a mains voltage converter. If you plan to use these outlets, pay attention to what you are doing and double check your device's voltage rating!

Nice converter. Worked well and I especially like that you can directly plug in the phone and accessories.

Worked well for small device charging (phones and tablets) as well as hair dryer and curling iron. Used daily during an 8 month trip without issue. Small and easy to pack. I highly recommend this. FYI - also have a Euro version from this same company and equally satisfied.

I knew I didn't need the converter for the blow dryer, just the plug adapter for the phone charger and laptop and it worked perfectly! Has the usb's so I didn't need to take the wall plug for my phone charger. And the collapsible prongs were the cherry on the cake :)

Was SO helpful for my trip to London. Was able to charge all my devices in one thing! Particularly like the USB ports too so I didn’t have to lug around all my bricks. Pretty good value for what it is!

Great adapter! It is working away right now with 2usb c, 2 regular USB and one plug. Powers everything and since the plugs fold in, it doesn't take up a ton of space. Wish I bought 2, lol.

Worked very nicely on my last trip to the UK. I bought two, and we were able to use them mostly next to the bed in larger, newer hotels. In the older hotels, we just found a spot where we could plug it in. In many cases, I was unpluging a lamp to plug this in. We were able to charge our devices, iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at the same time.

Summary: *Build quality is good. Feels well made. *Good attention to safety on the ground plug *Plug fit correctly *Has a USB charger built in I got this to take with me to Scotland for a week. It worked as one would expect. It fit into all the UK plugs I used correctly. The pins fold down which is very convenient for storage and avoids scratching anything else stored in the same bag. It allows three 3 pin plugs and 1 extra two pin plug to be inserted. This adapter also has a proper ground pin. Have seen travel adapters before that don't properly connect the third pin to the wall, but allow three pin devices to be plugged in, which is unsafe. This adapter has the proper ground and when you pop up the top two pins the third pin get pushed up as well, so you cannot forget to extend the third pin. Good attention to detail there. The USB charger also works well, it was able to charge both my phones in a few hours. As it says the description it is not a QC charger, but it can provide 3.4A, so it can still charge two phones at an acceptable rate. I consider this good value for a quality travel adapter.
