Easy to use.
I needed to fill in some rotting wood around a door frame and this product was very easy to use. I am 77 years old and found it was easy to spread and dried fairly quickly, and paintable. would buy again.

Pure white and fills nicely.
Worked well for door frame filler. Stored for a year and still usable. Putty knife is nice but small and got lost. Would buy again if needed.

Works well
This is a little bit on the "doughy" thick side, but it fills, shapes, and sands very easily. I am repairing white painted trim strips with deep damage and this filled in and dried without cracking or crumbling when I sanded it. The container looks small, but you can patch a lot with this amount and the price was really great. They provide two spreading tools, two popsicle sticks, and a patch film (which I didn't use). The plastic cap just snaps on, but they added an inside sealing ring which will help keep the product sealed and fresh for extended storage periods. It works great and looks smooth when the repairs were done.

Great wood putty!
This is awesome wood putty. I used it to fix an antique gold frame and it worked perfectly. There is no odor, it sands nicely, takes paint well and doesn't crack. Highly recommend!

I needed this
I needed this because I'm trying to change the cabinet poles on my cabinets in my kitchen due to a makeover and some painting. This is good because it feels and the old holes because they don't line up with the new hardware that I purchased. I really needed it for that and I'm very happy with the fact that I was able to get this and that this definitely will get the job done.

Awesome!!
Love this product! So easy to apply and adheres to the surface very well. You can’t beat the price either, couldn’t find a better deal at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Highly recommend this wood putty!!

Odd smell and texture and white
I've used a few different brands for wood filler. I was just going to use Elmer's again because it worked well, but I thought I would give this one a shot. I didn't like that it was white. I didn't read that when I ordered it, so that's on me. I'm used to my wood fillers being brown. Wood stainer could easily solve that. This one had a paint smell to it that I didn't like. It sanded well enough, but I feel like it wasn't filling in tight cracks. Larger cracks seemed to fill easier, but the smaller ones still show when sanded. Maybe another layer will make a difference, but usually one layer is enough for my projects.

Very pleased with this product and the results
I should have taken before and after pictures. My home's previous owner had a dog who anxiously chewed the wood on the window trim. I found this product and did not have high hopes and really just wanted to repair it enough that it would not be such an eyesore. I followed the directions and at first I was concerned because the putty is very thick and it did not want to stay in place. I started getting creative and used different methods for shaping it and making it stay. I did use the tools included in the kit but I also put on gloves and used my fingers first to really smash the putty into place and then I used the shaping tools. I did give it the correct drying time and then used the round sandpaper. It took a lot more sanding than I expected but with some elbow grease and patience it is now ready for paint. I'm going to let it cure another 24 hours before painting. I highly recommend this product if you have a wood project that needs mending. I do suggest laying a protective barrier below where you are working because the putty is messy and so is the sanding.
