durability and price
This shackle if total value and really looks nice on my tacoma. It was pricier than a few others but worth the money for the strength and look. easy to install, anti rust, and it is red so it shows up like a diamond in the ruff. Very pleased with the product and I would recommend this part to everyone if you have the funds.

Good product easy install wish it came with plastic washers to stop the rattling had to buy them myself which is really not a big deal.

Not your dad’s d-ring. Opening is quite a bit smaller than his.
Used multiple times while off-road for both recovery and self recovery. Strong attachment point, works as advertised. Would like a bigger opening so they could be used with today’s recovery gear, as hooks are no longer the norm for recovery vehicles. Easy to install if you know how to use tools. Look pretty good against my black bumpers, and hold their finish in all weather and terrain conditions. Nice, cost effective way to get a strong pulling point.

D-Ring Shackles.
Well designed and great looking. Not sure of functionality at this time. Would be better if anti rattle washers came with the D Rings Shackles.

Epic!
So far so good! Looks super high quality. I can’t speak on how they hold up yet but will update if the steel pin starts rusting. Only think I wish was different is I wish the pin tolerances were tighter so it had less rattle. I got some red isolator washers so that fixed it. But the tolerances on the pin, shackle, and retaining screw are pretty sloppy.
