Fruit and Veg Savers - 3 Discs

These discs are superb. I didn't really expect much, but hey, was I in for surprise. They really do work. Your salad, fruit and vegetables do actually last way longer in your fridge crisper drawers, staying fresh for maybe two or three times longer than before. And with each 3-pack costing £4 for 9 months total use, it represents such good value. Just write the replacement date on the disc (for 3 months time), stick it in the salad/vegetable crisper in your fridge, and replace once you reach the replacement date. Simple. Massively recommended.

I was dubious about this product, but I vave yo say that I'm pleasantly surprised, it does seem to be keeping my fruit and vegetables fresher fir longer in my fridge and in my fruit bowl.

These really work. I have now purchased a second set, 3 months after using the first set. The downside is that as other reviewers have stated, they come in packs of 3 and are not individually packed so all have to be used at the same time. However I use one in salad drawer, a second in the fruit bowl and the third in my vegetable drawer. Salad, vegetables and fruit definitely keep longer. Good value for what they do, I like the fact that you can write on the expiry date, so you know exactly where you stand. Would recommend.

I use to get via Lakeland however they have stopped selling it so went on the internet and search for it. I was happy enough to get through Amazon and should have look on it before as it is cheaper than Lakeland due to their P & P. I could not say at 100% if it does the job or not and I haven't bought it for sometime now, the fruits and vegetable seems to be ok now without using it. This is the reason why I am giving a 3*. Maybe this is due to the fact that we have changed our shop for the food shopping.

These are great. I use them in the fridge, the fruit bowl and in my veg storage. All my fruit and veg keep fresh longer. Bananas in particular last much, much longer. It's important with green bananas to wait until they have ripened to how you prefer them before using the disc with them.

I was so excited to receive this so when I did - we got a box of strawberries and vegetables. Well all I can say that it didn't live up to what's it's suppose to do. I put on the strawberries and the next day some of the strawberries were off - basically what it had promised that this will last 3 months lasted a day. My bananas are even turning spotty more than usual, the bunch of celeries I bought the same day as the discs arrived are already NOT fresh - wilted! So my question is how long has these discs been in its packaging - has it already past its three months? I am not sure if I want to laugh, cry or get mad. It's a joke. I still have to try the other brand which ordered and arrived the same day as this brand.

I now buy a pack of 10 of these, which works out much cheaper. The products seem to work.

Well, I am not sure what to say about these little discs. I followed instructions slavishly and had them in both veg and fruit bowls, expecting my produce to last much longer as described. All that happened was that it all decayed over a much faster period and I ended up by throwing most of it out. They clearly didn't work for my and I am not inclined to waste more money and try again. I am really disappointed and will never buy them again.

After having this in our fridge for a couple weeks, not only did we not notice a difference at all with our produce, but the disc itself went moldy.

I have a couple of other products like this that I use but I want of the desks for my fruit bowl my bananas lasted longer than normal
