Best Value GPU right now, graphics and AI see massive improvements over a 1660 Super
If I'd believed certain GPU comparison websites then then I didn't have much to gain by upgrading my 1660 Super to a 4060 - the raw numbers suggested a mild improvement. No-one recommends this GPU because it's bottom of the 4000 series pile but the simple fact is, replacing my existing card with one 3 generations newer allows me to run any game at 4K with the quality being tweakable whereas with the 1660 Super - 4K was only a consideration for older game engines - Unreal Engine 5 was out of the question. It's quieter, uses less energy than my old card also no annoying ball bearing grating that forced me to manually set a fan power curve. Uses the same 8 PIN PCI-E power connector too so installation was a breeze. Never really seen RTX in action before so I don't care if a 5090 or 4090 are better (they are) but even on low ray-tracing settings the effect blew me away. I have been into computer games since monochrome pixels the size of your thumb where the best you could get at home so to say I'm happy is an understatement. I'd been determined to sit out the graphics card market's insanity but 4-figure prices, stock shortages and scalping are the new normal for GPUs. With my outgoing card being worth about £100 used I was able to step up my GPU performance massively at a total cost of around £170. This compares quite favourably with the £2000-£6000 (!) needed to secure a 5090 in the UK right now. To those interested in hosting LLMs locally I saw a MASSIVE improvement running Deepseek-R1 on my machine with this card. Although VRAM only increased from 6GB to 8GB, the tensor cores really pull their weight and make specialised LMs hosted locally a very real possibility.

2 hdmi ports, 2 display ports
I got this as an upgrade from an rx 590 8gb card. I could still play modern games on high and most settings on ultra but more and kore games were making it difficult to use. Or settings were locked down. It's a piece of cake to install physically and as it is nvidea there's an easy peasy software suite to go with it. Non of the faffing i had with the rx card. Playing games have been seamless and allowed upscaling options for the likes of AC Valhalla with beautiful results. Waaay higher frame rates and better more beautiful displays. This has 2 hdmi ports and 2 display ports. Connecting multiple monitors is a breeze. Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Good Card
Bought one and it worked fine, unfortunately my system wasn't clicking between my mobo and new monitor as well so i ended up sending it back along with the monitor. Nothing wrong with the GPU though.

Actually pretty good
I used to have one as a place holder until I got the 5070ti and honestly....it did the job well....consistent steady performance at 1440p. Probably performs better these days too with nvidia driver updates

A great upgrade for me
I’m not a serious gamer but I’ve just bought a huge ultra wide monitor and needed a gfx card that could drive all those pixels at a decent rate. This seems like the sweet spot between price and performance. Sure you can get more powerful and also cheaper but I don’t think you can get more performance for less. If it helps anyone I run this on Windows and Linux and no surprise the windows drivers are better but it’s still very useable under Linux.
