Looks very smart and keeps the butter just right, even if you keep it in the fridge.

Really pleased with this insulated butter dish and it really works. Well made and a really nice item to have on a table or kitchen worktop.

Whilst the sturdiness of the product cannot be questioned, After very little use the so called stainless steel does corrode and leave marks in the tray. becomes difficult to clean and has started showing signs of pitting. Not very impressed after such a short time. Quality of the Stainless Steel must be sub standard as it is a butter dish and should resist the salt in the butter?????

We've been together for almost forty years, starting as teenaged lovers and now staring sixty in the face. In all that time, we'd never previously experienced the sheer joy that a butter dish can bring. It seemed that there were always other ways to spend money; mortgages, school uniforms, wellington boots. The list never ended. Butter dishes were never something we could afford to indulge in.As a result we made do with margarine and abominations advertised as "spreadable". Over the years, our existence became comfortable but humdrum. Our marriage was in a rut. Little did we realise that the fires of passion could be ignited once more.Then one day, while innocently browsing through Amazon to pass another endless day in lockdown, I came across this butter dish. I was seduced by its good looks, the sleekness of the polished steel, those curves, that cheeky knob, the solid, trustworthy, yet beguiling design. And the prospect of oozy, glorious, golden delights secreted within. My matronly heart was set aflutter, and with trembling finger, I pressed the button to "buy now".Surely enough, the following day, my butter dish arrived in a plain brown wrapping. I called my husband away from his trainset, and together - with some trepidation - we opened the parcel. It's fair to say, we've never looked back. Breakfast in bed has taken on a whole new dimension, beyond even the torrid days of our youth. Let's just say, our married life is entering a whole new stage of bliss, as together we revel in the delights of soft butter.I highly recommend this item.

This feels like a lovely quality item, however the lid did not sit properly in the saucer. I really wanted to keep it, but the lid rattled around in and wasn’t quite the right size. For the price, I’d want it to be right, so I reluctantly returned it. I may try ordering another one yet to see if it wasn’t a typical fault as I can’t find a comparable one to replace it with.

Having read various reviews about this butter dish I was in two minds whether or not to purchase one. The finish around some of the edges of the lid was a little 'rough' and it was not an airtight fit into its base but, nevertheless, ignoring these minor 'defects' it does its job and the butter remains 'spreadable' and not 'soft' straight from the fridge. You certainly get your money's worth of stainless steel since it is very heavy/solid construction (you wouldn't want to drop it on your toes!)

When I opened the box I was impressed by the weight and quality of this butter dish, there were no dents or marks on it as others have reported on theirs, the finish was excellent, a 250g block of butter fits perfectly in it, it keeps my butter at the perfect temperature for spreading no matter what the ambient temperatures are in the kitchen, I have used it continuously since I bought it, no rust spots or any other marks have appeared on it yet, looking at it I don't expect any either, being as it is so substantially made and finished, it should give me many years of service, there are nooks or cranny's on it so it is easy to clean out after use.Rather more expensive than I thought it would be for a butter dish, but well worth it, you get what you pay for in this instance, and it looks good too.Highly recommended.

Far better than expected and has a quality appearance and feel. There was a mark on the bottom tray but a quick wash removed it. Most importantly it keeps butter at a spreadable temperature, as it should do. The stainless steel makes it easy to keep clean. I like this product and think it's a good design and practical, the brushed top finish looks good and is a real winner. The weight of the top has also kept my cats nose out of the butter, as it cannot flip it over like a plastic one!
