Great Price & Quality
I bought this pad as a comparison to the overpriced name brand pads on the market. I was very surprised to find that it was just as good and possibly better in some ways. The closed cell foam is very similar, not quite as dense but comfortable and warm. A couple things stand out for me besides the great price. #1 this is a wider pad than the others, roughly 3". This is great to keep your arms from sliding off the pad and touching the ground. The other is thet included extra straps to hold it together. This makes it much easier to store and pack. The price is the biggest benefit, so much cheaper than the fancy name brand. Buy this pad and save your pennies for a better backpack! 10 stars!!

Yes you need this
This pad is lightweight, perfectly sized and made with durable material. As a side sleeper this adds insulation and comfort to my sleep system I couldn’t do without.

Great for weight
These are great for some reasons but not for others. They weigh nothing and are great for backpacking. Used these on a 12 mile hike to our campground. They also traveled well in a bag to take on a plane. They might be nice in the extreme cold also. They also don’t “pop” if they get a hole like inflatable ones. They are not very comfortable if sleeping on hard ground. I watched a couple bundle up leaves and put under their tent, so I’ll try that next time with these. We bought an inflatable pad also for our kids and that seemed to be a lot more comfortable. The inflatable ones are unreliable though, so we will still be carrying both in the future. If you want light, you have to sacrifice a little comfort. When you have to carry 30lbs of other necessities for 12 miles, 1lb seems quite nice.

Does the job and great for backpacking!
This product does the job, and provides a decent level of confort considering how thin and compact it is, which is great for backpacking.

Great pad
Worked great as a bottom layer with an inflatable pad on top. Blocked ground chill in 30°s and 40°s. Lightweight and have survived several trips with no sign of wear.

Good budget mat
Had this mat down on the ground in my tent and I thought it wasn’t going to do well because of it being super thin and it being cold and not knowing what the R value is. But for the price it wasn’t to bad, if you can sleep on the ground me be comfortable it’s really good and cleaning is just brushing it off really..

Does not do well with humidity
Used last July while camping in Michigan, and while the pad held up pretty well over all, I was NOT prepared for the issue of moisture. Every morning I woke up with water (condensation?) having pooled in the indented part of the sleeping pad. This ended up getting my sleeping bag very wet which was somewhat miserable throughout the week. Wish I had gone for a flatter design that would be less prone to collecting water

Must have
10/10. These have been great for our backpacking trips. The weight and r value are perfect for the price.
