Easy to assemble to base ..good quality desk top

Damaged in transit (Hole through box to top surface) decided to use it anyway and see what tippex can do.Was surprised to find a through hole for wires (I hadn't noticed in the advert) but it was at the rear right, I could have used a rear left one.Other than those niggles it's a nice top, it mounts very easily to the desk with all the required fixing points having inserts for bolts,Overall pleased.

This is a heavy duty solid table top, may need 2 people to move it around. The color is not the true white you would expect, I would consider off-white. What I didn't like is the edges as seen in the picture attached, not the same as advertised. It makes the top feels not new. The packaging protected both sides of the table top with foam, the issue may have occur during manufacturing.What I love about the top is that it is heavy duty, I got 2 32inches monitors and I can see that they will not sink the top in the long term.I have bought this top with the same brand adjustable height stand, and the shake test is nice and solid. There is no pre drilled hole on the table top to install the power box of the stand knowing they both the same brand.

This is a fantastic one piece desktop.

If you want a sturdy table top to clamp your monitor without warping, try this one. Plus, it's very good looking. Only downside, you can't choose which side the cable hole is.

The box arrived a little dinged up, but not too bad. The adequate packaging inside protected the desktop from any further damage. This damage appeared to have happened prior to shipping as the box showed absolutely no damage in that pariticular area. It's a considerable chunk that's been taken out of the veneer, as you can see from the photo.Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury of returning it and waiting another couple of weeks for a new one as it was imperitive we get the desk set up as soon as possible due to my wife's new home-based job starting this week, as we had the Maidesite T2 Pro Plus legs waiting for it to do so. Those arrived two weeks before as they come from the UK and the desk top comes from Germany.I tried the 'contact seller' facility on Amazon to no avail. I also tried to contact Maidesite on their own website customer support email address, and again received no response.They eventually got in touch and offered a full refund which was very generous of them.Anyway, the actual desktop construction is mostly good, and very solid. The desk looks great if you ignore the damage.The pre-drilled holes work really well with the T2 legs we bought. My only gripe is that the self-tapping screws that you need to use to connect the control panel under the desk aren't very deep and the wood inside the desk comes apart easily. The screwdriver they supply is quite small and it's hard to get enough torque on it to screw the screw in. I had to use a larger screwdriver to get enough grip and then one of the screws chewed up the wood inside the desk so wasn't securely fixed on one side. Had to go get a deeper screw from my toolbox and be careful it didn't then poke out the top of the desk :) All worked out well in the end, but something to be mindful of. Be carfeul you don't overtighten the screws as they'll chew up the wood.

I got this for my 12 year old daughter as her desk is too small. We put this on top to make it bigger and cut to fit the space we have. It’s not real wood, it’s like wood chip under the top layer, but it looks great!

Perché dovresti spendere 180€ per un semplice ripiano in legno quando potresti comprarlo in una qualunque falegnameria vicino a casa? Posso darti almeno tre motivi:1) A meno di comprare una tavola in legno massello è molto facile incappare in un prodotto poco robusto o di scarsa qualità.2) Oggigiorno il legno costa moltissimo e, come se non bastasse, bisogna considerare la lavorazione per il taglio, la rifinitura dei bordi e la laccatura.3) È necessario far predisporre tutti i fori per assemblarlo alla struttura della scrivania. Chi ci fornisce queste specifiche?Comprare un piano di lavoro come questo risolve tutti e tre i problemi. La confezione di cartone è arrivata leggermente danneggiata ma il prodotto era in condizioni perfette perché protetto in maniera eccellente (complimenti a Maidesite!). Il peso della tavola fa capire che non siamo davanti al classico cartonato di Ikea (anche se ovviamente non si tratta di legno massello).La sorpresa positiva è arrivata quando ho predisposto la tavola per il montaggio: non solo c'erano già tutti i buchi, ma quelli più "importanti" contenevano un dado a cui fissare saldamente le viti fornite con la struttura. Le misure erano perfette e l'operazione è stata semplicissima.Una volta assemblata, l'intera scrivania risulta solidissima e stabile oltre che bella da vedere. Per ora sono più che soddisfatto.

mi è piaciuto moltissimo, arrivato integro (a parte qualche piccolo segnetto), ben imballato, il colore si adatta perfettamente al mio salotto, già predisposto con i fori appositi per il montaggio se usato con il telaio della stessa marca.

Il piano è proprio come in foto, il melange di colori lo rende abbinabile a moti legni chiari e non troppo scuri; ha il foro passafili per il computer che è molto comodo, permettendo di avere la scrivania libera; noi lo abbiamo appoggiato sulle gambre di un vecchio tavolo e il risultato è perfetto; mio marito lo adora anche perchè rispetto al vero legno è molto più robusto; E' arrivato nei tempi previsti; la confezione ha i supporti agli angoli quindi è arrivato perfetto.
