Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this child's beginner drum set. It is engineered beautifully, easy to finish assembly, sounds great and should last several years. The price is very reasonable for a drum set of this quality.

I wish I could give zero stars. I got this for my daughter's big surprise present. I bought it early before the holidays because I am a teacher and I only get paid once a month so I planned ahead to make sure I could afford this dream gift my daughter wanted. I opened it closer to the holidays to set up because we live in a tiny place I couldn't hide it for two months assembled. When I opened it, I discovered it is damaged(see pictures). I've been refused a refund and now have nothing for my daughter. I work so hard to make her dreams come true, I would simply buy a new one, but I can't afford a new one. I'm devastated and it will kill me that she isn't getting anything now. I just want a replacement of the broken equipment.

I bought these as a gift for my grandson. They seem like a great starter set and the drums were easy to put together. They sound good and I recommend drums. Cymbals are another things The clash don't clash and no matter what we do they don't work. The boom cymbals keep sliding down to on top of the drums. No matter how much you tighten them, they slide down and he is not hitting them hard. Thumbs down on them.

To begin, I must say that I was quite surprised when opening the box. I was actually stunned regarding the quality of this set. I purchased this set for my 4 year old grandson for Christmas (he has not seen them yet). I’m 64 and have been playing percussion since I was 10. I have had numerous sets over the years and while not Pearl, they are a extremely decent set at a very reasonable price. Assembly was quite easy but time consuming. You WILL have to assemble this set. The instructions were straight forward and very easy to follow. Tuning (yep...you have to tune each drum head). Can’t wait for him to play these.
