Excellent
Unsure about the arpeggios part... Basically if you skip the parts that you do not like or not agree with and stick to the part you like. You can make success of it. Songs all sound a bit jazzy. Not very classical however is fun for kids.

I am what they call in the game "All the gear no idea". I bought a fancy Yamaha piano randomly thinking id learn so I bought a very basic book. It showed me key notes and some chords and even some nursery rhymes ect. Based on my previous experience tickling the piano with said book I though id skip level 1 and purchase Piano Adventures level 2A and 2B. Quite the mistake. I'm flicking through not understanding half of the symbols or timings even though this is for small children (embarrassing for a 27 year old male). I have also just purchased level 1. hopefully it starts right at the basics. Perhaps a should of bought the theory book too?

I recently had the pleasure of using this piano book with my daughter, and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality and effectiveness of this book. Beautifully organized, it makes progressing through the lessons a breeze. Each concept is introduced clearly and engagingly, ensuring students fully grasp the material before moving on. The pieces included are thoughtfully selected, offering a delightful mix of classical, folk, and original compositions that keep my daughter motivated and excited to practice. What stands out most about "Piano Adventures" is its focus on developing a well-rounded musician. The book seamlessly integrates theory, technique, and artistry, helping students not only play the notes correctly but also express the music with feeling and understanding. The accompanying illustrations and practice tips enhance the learning process, making it both enjoyable and visually stimulating for my daughter. The pacing of the lessons is perfect—challenging enough to keep my daughter engaged but not so difficult that it becomes frustrating. This balance is crucial in maintaining a positive learning experience, especially for young pianists.

It’s a fantastic book series that my daughter’s music teacher regularly uses in lessons. The books are thoughtfully structured with progressive levels, so students build their skills step by step through carefully selected songs and techniques. What makes the series especially effective is that each piece introduces a small bit of music theory, which students immediately apply while playing. This approach helps reinforce learning in a practical, engaging way, allowing students to develop both their technical ability and their understanding of music at the same time.

Continuando el nivel 2 de Piano Adventures, incluye el uso de sextas, arpegios con manos cruzadas, pedaleo, negra con puntillo y las tonalidades y escalas de Do, Fa y Sol mayor. Bastante buen material.
