Really well built and definitely better than the originals.The fit is perfect for my ears but does take a couple of days to adjust to.The noise cancellation is great, I could not hear anything while on the plane. Seals well.I used it while working out and did not notice my ears get too sweat so I think it does have a bit of cooling effect.

These replacement ear bud covers for the Sony are better than the OEM plastic covers. I wear them daily for more than 3 hours and they are comfortable and easy to install in about 5 minutes for both sides.

I've had my xm3 for about 4yrs and I absolutely love it. I actually intended to upgrade to the xm5.. but after researching, I concluded the upgrade did not have any significant value. I settled for replacing the worn out ear pads instead and I'm so happy with the results. These pads are very comfortable and feel even better than the factory earpads. Replacing the earpads took like 2 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am happy with my purchase.

A good fix for the Sony WH1000XM3/4 headband and earpad disintegrating poly leather issue. Note that it's best to retain the end clips from the Sony rather than using the supplied replacements.

From my leatherwork experience I learned that genuine leathers have natural hair follicles, whereas synthetic leather has artificial, evenly spaced holes. These have natural holes that come in triplets, as I pointed out in the photo. You can see rows and rows of triplets, where natural hair grows in such a pattern. Whatever leather this is from, it IS genuine leather.As for the pads themselves, they're hard to clip on. These look a bit smaller than OEM pads, like 98-99% the size. They also move the driver further away from the ear, making the sound brighter and quieter. This distance also made the ANC and noise isolation worse. The smaller size made the headphones feel hotter.I have Soulwit's P leather pads. Those are slightly bigger and is better in every aspect. I'd go for those instead of shelling out $5 more just for the leathers on these.

Appears to be real leather, an improvement from others sold here (others have peeled or flaked)- time will tell. No noticeable difference in sound.They're not moving around once installed. I had a harder time putting them on, but hopefully, they'll stay on that much longer too!Beware: some sellers/ manufacturers are calling their material REAL leather, but you just KNOW it's not! Amazon is very good with resolving those issues though.
