Don't lose the thin nut that secures the L-pad in place, like I did
These work great. However, if you happen to lose the thin nut like I did, and need a replacement, search the Web for "9mm potentiometer nut (M9x0.75)."

Works well or 15 watt tube amp
Used this to make an attenuator for my guitar tube amps. With the 100 watt rating I was hoping to use it on a 40 watt Balckstar Club 40 but it got extremely hot after maybe 15 minutes. I had the master volume totally maxed out and it attenuated the volume down to almost nothing so it definitely worked but I can't imagine it would have remained functional for an extended period of time. Works perfectly on the 15 watt setting of a Mesa Transatlantic. Doesn't get hot at all with the master volume at 80% even after over an hour of playing time and the signal significantly attenuated. Definitely gets the job done but depending on how high you have the volume on your amp and how much attenuation you use the length you will be able to use it is going to vary.

looks and works nice, mounting screws not included
This is a very nice attenuator, however I chose it becayse of the looks. You can buy the same kind for half the price it uglier is fine with you. My disappointment was that matching mouning screws are not included. Not a big deal but at the price of the item iw ould have expected screws as well.

Little expensive but, this is a very very nice peace, just to look at, akso the quality its total hi-end stuff, i reccomend it very much +++
