APEC Water Systems ULTIMATE Series US Made Stage 1, 2 & 3 Replacement Filter For Undersink System(FILTER-SET)

Been using these MADE IN USA from Apec filters for many years. I use them for an old reverse osmosis unit that I removed the top membrane filter. These three filters work perfectly to make the Las Vegas water more pleasant to drink from my fridge water dispenser. I have a bypass installed so I don't need to buy those expensive fridge filters that don't do much to improve the taste of the water and ice.

We formally purchased another line of filters for a different under-sink RO system and would spend $200 every 3 months and it required us shutting down our system and purging it for 24 hours. This system can be used within 15 minutes of installing/replacing filters. The water quality is even better. Although the filters do create waste once you dispose, it isn't in comparison to the hundreds of plastic bottles that create even more waste and hazards. We live in a town where water filtration is subpar and very hard. The drinks you make with our water vs. this filter can't compare in clarity alone. I only gave it 4 stars for installation due to the fact that most under-sink units aren't easily accessible and require some maneuvering on floor level, but overall straightforward. We date and mark each filter with the corresponding order of installation to ensure we properly install them and change them out timely. In the pictures you will see a glass of tea, with the same tea concentration, with the same steeping times, same brand. The difference is one on the left is from the tap source no filtration and the one on the right is filtered with APEC. The smell alone was a stark contrast before the clarity and taste was addressed. We used a flashlight to show the murkiness of the one on the left (a) vs. the one on the right (B) in two of the pictures. Just an overall great investment.

This brand is a zillion times better than any I've ever used. Best by far. Last longer and water cleaner than using others. I live in Riverside County, Southern Calif.. i have an APEC RO-90 in My kitchen under the sink. I use this water for anything that I drink or eat or cook. Tap in this region is Dangerously toxic in some areas and better in some others. My professional digital TDS&EC water meter reads 310 ppm which is not drinkable for me. It is legally drinkable but contains solids like mercury, arsenic, chlorine, medicines, etc. I'm not a scientist, but am a educated professional. I did a ton of research on personal home kitchen water systems before I purchased this one. It definitely does the best job based on the actual STATS from the most respectable water testing agency in the US. Non-vested interest. These FILTERS are involved in the statistical analysis. For my basic system, these 3 filters are changed every 12 months, or up to 24 months depending on water consumption. The 2 other filters that are used along with this set, include the main membrane filter and one other one. They are changed every 3 to 5 years and are the actual filters that do the BIG magic in detoxifying the water. I couldn't be happier with these filters and system. By the way, I had the water pressure decrease immensely recently. After calling the APEC company I found out that the water tanks are pressurized and commonly lose pressure after some years, diminishing the amount of water flow. It can easily be re-pressurized with a bicycle pump or electric equivalent. See YouTube "RO-90 re-pressurization" . Lots of short demos of many different brands. A professional water system company can also do it, but many don't. I had a handyman watch the video and then repressive for me, as suggested by a company. It took only a few minutes. Easy .

Exact replacement for my APEC 3 stage water filter. This is my second time buying the APEC brand and I chose this brand for several reasons. The filters are made in USA, water flow is good and no strange odors or tastes in the filtered water. Installation is easy and takes about 20 minutes. I typically change them about every 6 months.

I have never had an issue with these filter cartridges. I always test my water from time to time and it is spot on. Highly recommendable

This worked out fabulous! My son replaced the new filters. He was also glad I ordered the APEC O Rings for the filters. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's who both told me they had Apec Filters and O Rings. After driving 30 minutes to pick them up they tried selling me a GE set. I refused to get those and came home and was glad Amazon had APEC. So I ordered both of them.

Works well.

This filter is absolutely amazing!! I love it! We used to use a Brita filter and I hated cleaning it and refilling it all the time. This was a one time installation and we have the cleanest water. It tastes just like good bottled water. I use this water for everything from my washing produce, filling up my water bottle everything!! I highly recommend you buy one especially if you have bad tap water in your area and have a big family. I hope the water tastes as good in 6 months time as it does now.
