UPDATED 2/13:We still love this!
2013 update: Some reviewers stated that this is made from "cheap plastic," but it doesn't look cheap, at all, on our sink. It works perfectly and looks exactly like our chocolate brown Blanco sink. It looks exactly as it looked when we installed it last March or April. It's very hard to see it, which is important because our kitchen is actually very close to our home's entrance and dining room, and is open. And it goes perfectly with our Mediterranean bronze Mico faucet. It's nearly invisible in the Blanco sink, though. All of our fixtures (mostly Cifial with 1 Moen handheld showerheads) go with it, as well. We held them all up to each other to see how everything blended together, and it all worked. The switch, after about 10 months of use, works easily with no sticking. While I have gotten a little water in it every so often (wet hands pushing the button) it didn't hurt it. I normally try to dry my hands though before using. No chips or any other sort of wear and tear look, to date. No shorting out or anything else. It works great.OLD: Our kitchen sink is highly visible from the dining room and located in an island. So we couldn't put the normal disposal switch in a wall, and really didn't want to. This thing is great. It matches the sink perfectly and works great. I do wonder if water will hurt it as it was put right in the sink lid and not on the counter beside the sink, but our plumber and electrician both told us it would be fine and that where it is, is the normal spot for it. We're extremely happy with it, though. It's also got a "cool" factor which is always fun!

Exactly as described!
Don’t hesitate if you need a replacement button and cover “ring” for your airswitch. Perfect fit. And easy to change to match your faucet etc.

Looks great and way easy to install.
Bought this to replace the one that came with the air switch package I bought. Super easy to install and works great. Only been using a few months but seems to have a good durable finish.

Expensive but works
No instructions come with package. Granted all you have to do is pop off the cover on the old color and pop on the new color. Expensive for such a cheap trim piece but it does work as advertised. Overall a good buy.

Shiny brass air switch
The insinkerator doesn’t come with switch! Glad Amazon carries everything. I’m sick of lining wholesaler plumbing showroom pockets!

NOT OEM switch!
Although the entire order arrived 2 days early, I am REALLY disappointed in the cheap plastic this is made of. I was replacing my original ISE stainless switch, because ORB was not available when I installed my disposal 4 years ago, and the outer ring kept popping off. Finally, it popped at the wrong time, landingd IN my running disposal, last week. So, it was time to order the bronze switch I always wanted. For $17 bucks though, all you get is two (made in China) plastic pieces, with NO instructions on how to replace the old switch. There are NO additional wires, switches or connections - just the cosmetic cover and button. This would NOT hold up to daily use or a pan accidently dropping on it. I'm VERY dissapointed in the quality, from the way this was described by the seller on Amazon. How about letting us consumers know when they are getting something other than an OEM Insinkerator part! It is smaller than the original button too. Returning it as soon as possible! Insinkerator's are still made right here in Wisconsin - so I'll get my parts from Lowe's or Home Depot.

I had no idea how easy it was to change these
changed our sink and faucet from stainless/nickle to black/ORB. about 1/4the price of a whole new unit and only takes seconds to change
