The product arrived quickly and proved that the cable tester I was using is faulty. I had (re) made a long cable 4 times because the testing reported it as faulty, this tester confirmed the Ethernet cable is fine. The tester is compact and appears well made - takes a small MN 21 battery and contains email address and contact details for company contacts in Uk . Always a bonus . The price is reasonable and lets hope it lasts as long as the old faulty tester(12 years).

Does the job
Would be nice the have battery direction marked, as was going to replace as faulty until I twigged I my have battery in wrong way round! Seems to work on the one cable tested so far.

giving false results after few months
started with good results, after 2 months, the smaller part does not blinks on some numbers, while the main one does. that provide false information. Tested on multiple cables (already terminated by different companies)
