Great Purchase!
Its awesome. Didn't have many reviews but it looked solid so I took a chance on it.Pros:-Heavy and sturdy-Grips feel comfortable, easy to hold-Easy to rearrange into different configurations-Very tall maximum height-A retractable hook on the bottom for hanging weights for more stability-Incredibly small size when packed away-Smooth Fluid HeadCons:-Wish the legs had more of a variety of locking angles-Quick release plate arrived covered in some sort of stringy material - looked like cobwebs.Haven't had a chance to fully use it yet but I will update if my experience changes at all.

Tall-and-compactible, smooth, steady tripod
I'm so impressed with this tripod. It extends up to 72 inches (though I rarely need it that high) and compacts down to 22 inches to fit easily into my video equipment daypack. The fluid head is remarkably smooth both when panning and tilting. The quick-release plate slides onto the mount easily and locks down securely. The plastic clips on the legs aren't as rock-solid durable as tripods with rings to tighten down, but the clips make packing and unpacking the tripod much easier and quicker.. For the price, this is an excellent tripod.

Solid and Well-Engineered
I'm a professional video producer working mostly by myself on three series: One on Amazon Prime and two on YouTube. I have one excellent, heavy, video tripod for studio use but have had a terrible time finding a lightweight but solid tripod for field use. This one fits the bill, perfectly. It's extremely well-engineered and build very solidly. Unlike other supoosedly "video" tripods this tripod's fluid head actually feels fluid. Thank you. Robert Marcos

This is a REALLY great, budget video tripod/monopod combo.
Let's be clear, this isn't a high end tripod. That said, for the price I think it's absolutely worth it. It takes a bit or learning and fiddling to figure out how to get it into all the configurations. One of the legs comes off, but you can't mount the head directly to the leg, you must also remove the center post. To do that, you have to unscrew a little cap at the bottom that also houses the retractable hook, and then pull the shaft out and screw it to the leg. This gives you a VERY long, but very light mono pod. The feet also unscrew, so you should be able to purchase one of those folding monopod feet and screw that onto the monopod leg. There's an image that shows the head attached to the mono leg without the extra shaft. I don't think this is actually possible as the leg by itself has too big a thread on it to allow the head to be screwed to it. I'd love to know if I'm just missing something, but I think they just made that image and it's not an actual feature. The tripod indeed goes up to about 6 foot high and it still seems pretty stable. Most of the dials to tighten things are plastic, but the legs and head ARE metal. I found the head to be really smooth. Like smoother than some tripods I've used that were more expensive than this. It's also really light. I don't think I'd ever put enough on this to push its weight limit, but I'd be a bit worried about putting a gimbal on top of the monopod fully extended. It might hold up fine, but it's so light that I worry about the thickness of the leg and if it would bend under too much weight.Overall, I was looking for something with a decent video head on it, plus some extra features (like the monopod). I plan to add a foot to my kit and also possibly a dolly, but overall I really like it. If anything happens to change my review (like it breaks or something), I'll post back.Someone asked if there’s a hook on this so I’ve posted a photo.

Really good tripod
I started with a Coman monopod. And it really does the job for me. That's why I said why not get a tripod too. Ended liking this tripod too. The feel and the smoothness of the head. I'm even thinking of buying a 3rd one with ball head.Update: bought a 3rd one, this was directly from the coman company in China. Since they don't sell the tripod on Amazon. Was a heavy-duty one. Just want to say how smooth the process went and a great tripod. It's big tho. Did not expect that big from what I saw from the pictures.

Hold out for more.
This is okay for what it does. Photography is its strength but save up for a name brand if you’re going to use it for video.

Great for tracking video shots
The pivots on each axis are nice and smooth allowing me to pan and tilt without introducing nauseating camera shake into the shot. Wish the quick plate was a tooless attachment to the camera but a coin does the trick while in the field. All the locks are tight and secure with large enough fasteners to not instantly strip out. Lightweight is subjective so I took that off of my review. You don't generally want a lightweight piece of camera equipment either.

Great value for money
I like the tripod a lot especially for the price it seems great. Fluid head is not the best but again for the price it’s not bad . Also I don’t recommend using it at its full height Because the middle neck gets a little wobbly the last few inches

Cheaper alternative for pro video tripod.
Works well. Cant complain. Definitely not a pro but you can make it work. Smooth and sturdy.

Awesome quality and price!
We have a manfrotto carbon fiber tripod with manfrotto video head at work and i have to say that I think i prefer this one(at least for the price that is)! Quick to set-up, lightweight, sturdy. Quality is comparable to manfrotto (although manfrotto head is a tiny bit smoother on the pan axis) . If you are looking for an affordable, well built, quality video tripod, this is it!

Great for travelling
Heavy duty construction. Feels solid and sturdy, and the fluid head works great for the price range of this item.
