Excellent and clean product
This is a great product. I tried another brand that had better adhesive but it was full of chemicals and one of the active ingredients was impossible to research. This nicotine patch works very well. The adhesive could be better but I don’t want better adhesion at the expense of not knowing what in creation they added to make the other brand stick so well. Also, the only active ingredient in these is nicotine. The other brand I bought indicated on the box that the active ingredient was nicotine but the insert had two more ingredients, one of which I could not determine what in the world it was. They made me feel very jittery and that lasted for 2 days from wearing one patch for 6 hours. These also appear to be made in the USA.

Got these for Nicotine Patch Protocol
I am not a smoker whatsoever. I got these Rugby 7mg Nicotine Patches in order to try the “Nicotine Patch Protocol”. I have Dysautonomia, underlying POTS, deep fatigue, MCAS. Anyone with any conditions like these, has probably heard of the Nicotine Patch Protocol. Anyways, I did some research and decided to try it. These patches come immediately - oftentimes on the same day, and they stick so well! They’ve even survived baths. I love these 7mg patches b/c they allow me to use one or more, as my body needs. The first day I tried them, I felt very charged and had more energy. By Day 2-3, a lot of sense of smell came back, that I didn’t even realize I had lost. The energy wasn’t as good as the first day & a half, but I stuck with it. Now, I use 1 - 7mg patch or 2 - 7mg patches on a lot of days, and take a day or two break in between. I go with what my body needs. They definitely help my energy levels, which were basically non-existent before. They also brought down the swelling in my fingers - so much so that I was able to put a ring back on that I hadn’t been able to wear since my Dysautonomia and MCAS got so bad. My baseline has definitely improved from these. When I do something that would normally cause severe PEM, I’m usually semi-okay within 12ish hours - my PEM used to last for days & days. I will keep at it, with some breaks here and there. And definitely keep using these specific patches.

Just as good as the pricey alternative
I’m a little bit of an expert on nicotine as I smoked and vaped for many years. I quit smoking with vaping and now trying to quit vaping with patches. Completely possible but you need an effective product that will keep away the moodiness and withdrawal symptoms. This product works and it’s priced reasonably. You can feel the skin contact sensation and the calming nicotine absorption. How you use it is your call but personally I advocate going stage 2 to 3 for 2-4 weeks and you will be clean. Any more urges are not biological but psychological. For reward: you will fill with air your lungs again without wheezing like a diesel engine on its last leg.

Rugby Clear Nicotine Patches (21mg): Effective and Affordable, but Adhesion Falls Short
Rugby Clear Nicotine Patches (Step 1, 21mg, 14 Count): Effective, Affordable, but Adhesion Needs Improvement I recently started using the Rugby Clear Nicotine Patches (Step 1, 21mg, 14 Count) as part of my journey to quit smoking, and they’ve been a helpful tool, though not without flaws. Designed as a nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) for those smoking more than 10 cigarettes daily, these patches aim to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, and they deliver well on effectiveness but fall short in one key area. Ease of Use: 4/5 Applying the patches is straightforward. You remove the backing and press the patch onto clean, dry, hairless skin (like the upper arm or shoulder) for 10 seconds, as per the instructions. The clear, discreet design is a plus, blending under clothing without being noticeable. The included self-help guide and behavior support program are useful, with an option to request a free audio CD for extra guidance, which I haven’t tried but appreciate. However, the adhesive can be finicky, often peeling off after 4–6 hours, especially during showers or sweaty activities, as noted by several Amazon and eBay reviewers. I’ve had to use clear medical tape to keep them in place, which is a hassle but manageable. Effectiveness: 4.5/5 The 21mg dose, intended for heavy smokers, effectively curbs nicotine cravings. Within about two hours of application, I noticed a significant reduction in the urge to smoke, aligning with customer feedback that the patches “start working quickly” and help with focus and energy. One Amazon reviewer said, “They keep me nicotined up!” and I agree—the steady 24-hour nicotine release helps maintain a calm, focused state without the peaks and troughs of smoking. The step-down program (21mg, 14mg, 7mg) is well-structured, though I’m still on Step 1, so I can’t speak to the full transition. Some users report no cravings even when forgetting a patch, suggesting low dependency risk, which is encouraging. My only issue is occasional mild skin irritation, but it’s minimal and doesn’t deter use. Comfort and Wearability: 3.5/5 The patches are thin and comfortable, with no itchiness or significant redness for my sensitive skin, unlike other brands that caused swelling, as noted by an eBay reviewer: “The adhesive on Rugby is fine on my sensitive skin.” The clear design is less obtrusive than tan patches, and I like placing them on my upper arm, as one user described it as their “secret armor for the day.” However, the adhesive is a consistent pain point—multiple reviews mention the patches falling off after a few hours, with one stating, “They don’t stick for 24 hours, I’m taping them on.” Orienting the patch with a corner upward helps with showering, but it’s not a complete fix. Value for Money: 4.5/5 At around $22–$40 for a 14-count box (based on Amazon and Walmart listings), these patches are a budget-friendly alternative to pricier brands like NicoDerm CQ. Amazon customers call them a “great value” and a “superior product” for the price, with one noting, “I save $70 compared to pharmacy prices.” The simple ingredient profile—pure nicotine without unnecessary additives—is a big draw, as highlighted by a user who chose Rugby for its purity. The 4.4-star average from 71 Walmart reviews and positive eBay feedback reinforce its affordability and quality. However, the need for extra tape due to poor adhesion slightly offsets the savings. Packaging and Support: 4/5 The 14-count box is compact and includes clear instructions, warnings, and a self-help guide, which is great for first-time NRT users. The step-down program is well-explained, advising Step 1 for 6 weeks for heavy smokers, followed by Steps 2 and 3. The patches are individually sealed, and the disposal pouch for used patches (to prevent child or pet exposure) is a thoughtful touch. Customer service is responsive, with Amazon reviews praising refunds or replacements for faulty patches. My only critique is that the packaging could emphasize the adhesive issue with tips for better application. Final Verdict: The Rugby Clear Nicotine Patches (Step 1, 21mg) are an effective and affordable aid for quitting smoking, delivering steady nicotine to curb cravings with minimal side effects. Their discreet design and simple ingredients make them a great alternative to pricier brands, and the included support materials are a bonus. However, the inconsistent adhesive—often peeling off within hours—is a notable drawback, requiring tape for all-day wear. I recommend these patches for budget-conscious smokers committed to quitting, but be prepared to secure them with medical tape and consult a physician for best results. With some tweaks to adhesion, these could be a top-tier option

Effective and Less Expensive
It IS exactly the same product as brand name for $$$. So glad I read the user reviews. I find these stay on well all day, and work great!

Use bandage tape over patch if it doesn’t stay on.
I have never had an issue with stickiness after the first or second try. The trick is to put it where clothes don’t rub and you’re not hairy. If you’re a man with hairy legs, then you’ll probably have a hard time keeping it on so you’d need to put it somewhere else on the body and you have to treat it like a Band-Aid where you don’t touch the sticky part at all. Peel it halfway, attach it to dry skin like an arm or a leg and then peel off the other side again not touching it. I put it behind my socks or under a sleeve that that’s not going to rub it off. In cases of sweat and moisture that might not allow it to stick, you can put Medical tape over it. There is a really good brand of skin toned bandage tape that I have purchased on Amazon and I just cut a piece that is large enough to cover the patch and overlap and it seems to help especially if you’re going to work out and sweat. Works real good.
