Neat, well-made access panel that fits nicely
This plastic access panel is well made and fits neatly once installed. The opening flap works smoothly and provides easy access for inspection or maintenance, while the white finish looks clean and unobtrusive on the wall or ceiling. Installation was straightforward and the panel feels solid rather than flimsy. It opens and closes securely and does exactly what it’s designed to do. Works ok for me, but not heavy duty
very thin and lightweight, however, will only be opened once a year for the boiler check, so hopefully acceptable. Well, it is also quite cheap, so, all good

East to fit & use. Looks neat
Excellent, easy to install just what I needed. Installed in larder unit which had twin plug socket behind but was covered during kitchen refit. Has enable them to be brought back into use. Looks neat.

The perfect cat flap for people without a cat
I really wanted a cat flap but felt odd buying one as I don’t have a cat. This thing is like a cat flap in a wall but no cat is required. Genius. I can also now access the water valves in the wall.

Just Ok
Overall it looks ok, however the product is cheap. The plastic is flimsy and the latch isn’t good. I have shared a video showing how one side of the latch holds and the other not so well. Leaving the door sitting slightly down at one side. Once the door is closed and you look at it from a distance it doesn’t look bad. If you are going to use this hatch regularly then I wouldn’t recommend it. But if like for me it will be a rarity that it will be opened then it might be worth it. If the latch begins to fail on me as it is quite weak then I will return it. However so far so good. I also fixed the inner lining of this door to ceiling joists. However the holes that are pre cut along the inner lining of the hatch is 10mm in diameter. Far too big for a screw head to hold onto. So I had to pre drill small holes and fix the inner lining to the joist. Something to consider for fitting to timber. I would recommend but only at this cheap price. At the same time I would also suggest spending a little more and getting one that is more sturdy.
