The Good, the Bad and the Ugly [Blu-ray] [1968] [2014]

Who doesn’t love a good old spaghetti western and this is probably the most famous and definitely with one of the best music scores ever.

Arguably the best Western ever made. Faultlessly directed, superb actors. Clint Eastwood is a superb actor and this shines through in this. But the other major actors (Eli Wallach as Tuco) and (Lee Van Clef as Angel Eyes) are superb too and their performances are excellent.I've watched this many times from VHS video, DVD and now to this 2014 remastered blu ray version. The picture and sound quality are absolutely stunning. The sharpness and detail is incredible for what is a 50 year old film and at a little over £8 it is ridiculously good value. Also, I found the colours to be very natural and nice and vivid. I cannot see any yellow cast that other reviewers have mentioned (perhaps you need to alter your TV's picture settings)!Also, there is in excess of 1hour 30 minutes of extras. I've only part watched them but what I have watched so far which were interviews with Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and the Producer of The Good The Bad And The Ugly, have been extremely interesting, with all their stories they tell on the making of it, which goes even more to make this ridiculously good value.

Very good edition. Only negative side, the yellow tint throughout the movie.

Loved this film, brought back memories when I was 10 years old and this film was released I could not see it as I was too young my sister bought the soundtrack LP and I nearly wore our our record player listening to the fabulous Enio Morricone score! One of my favourite westerns.

There is nothing to dislike about this purchased DVD. Bought to replace a recently damaged disc. Good shopping experience all round. Excellent seller.

A Clint Eastwood classic. It's a splendid present for a fan of western movies.

The Good, Bad, and the Ugly is not what todays crowd is use to. There is no constant action and special effects. It is a classic western saga with great acting with a purpose. It is slow, but the way life use to be. It was very enjoyable to watch with Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef, as the lead actors when they were young and Mario Brega. There is plenty of entertainment, just a slower pace like life used to be in the old west.
