This is perfect, and holds to the battery. Much better than the wood I was using. So glad I found this!

I don't know why batteries are smaller and produce same CCA, ,my toyota came with big battery and I replaced it but mos of the stores have the smaller group size battery, so I needed this tray to make it perfect fit and to make sure battery is secured.

I decided to spring for the Odyssey Battery. The Odyssey website says a specific battery fit my vehicle but this spacer was required. Amazon simply said that battery was not compatible with my vehicle! Bought the battery and spacer anyway. The spacer clips on the bottom and makes the battery the same height as the original. No problem with fit or using the original bracket. So yes the battery would not fit properly without this spacer, but it is misleading to think you have the wrong battery. Just verify the info on the Odyssey website. You might need this spacer like I did.

My car uses a group 24F battery. Apparently, some manufacturers market a battery designed for both group 24 and group 34. I bought one of these, then found that it is shorter than the group 24 battery that was original to the car. And because of the specific location of my battery, the positive cable wouldn't reach over the edge of the battery box to connect to the new battery. This spacer provided the solution; it clips to the bottom of the battery and provides enough height to approximate the size of a true group 24 battery. Problem solved, without costing an arm and a leg.

Purchased this accessory to compliment my Odyssey battery thinking I was getting an amazing battery and was "all in." Fooled me! This "highly rated" battery failed after about 3 years and I could have purchased at least two or more gel batteries from Walmart who has a better product, better warranty and better service. This battery is still under warranty but I've been told to "mail" it back. Another cost where I'm expecting to lose my core and have to struggle with the vendor. Save yourself all this drama and mostly, expense of a product that is far worse than Optima (which I'm still using daily after 12 years (two of them), and Walmart. Walmart is convenient, will honor their warranty and actually makes a really good battery with a four year free replacement battery! I feel like a fool for having spent this kind of money on a very poor product that was simply over-hyped. Hope this helps you!

I love the Odyssey Group 34 Battery Spacer, it is perfect to place under Odyssey Group 34 Battery.

The gap is just perfect to fit an Odyssey ODX-AGM34R on a Toyota truck, bolt-in installation in a minute, but the price is way to expensive...

Proper height adjustment for 34 series Odyssey Extreme.. Excellent Customer Service.

It lifts the battery up so high that its completely out of the OEM tray. You have to use so much down force pressure with the battery tie down bracket to keep it from sliding from its location. This is extremely dangerous since the amount of movement over time would eventually fray the wiring at the connectors.
