This mandolin is definitely worth the price, I know it seems expensive but compared to all the others out there this is far and away the best, its quality is outstanding and the fact that you can take it completely apart for cleaning is a godsend, no more food residues under fixed blades making them useless after a couple of uses, just a couple of screws and the blade comes off easily, the plastic is great quality so it doesn’t flex under use and being Japanese designed and made you know it’s going to last forever, I should of bought one years ago. What’s the old saying buy cheap buy twice, trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed with this one, just watch you’re fingers it’s brutally sharp and will cut you to the bone without even realising you have done it 😭😭😭 if you’re in the market for this product you won’t be buying a replacement for this mandolin

As advertised. Very sharp, 4 blades. Was so effective, I bought protective gloves after first use! Would recommend this to anyone anyone with an interest in home cooking. I'm not overcrowded by kitchen tools but I think a mandolin is a useful tool for the cooking enthusiast. This product is worth the splurge.

I noticed that many chefs were using this type of mandolin, and I ordered myself the cheapest one. And wow if it is sharp, I cut myself right away, but never been happier to do so! The blade is incredibly sharp, it will slice a potato instantly. I can finally make crisps at home. The only drawback of this model is the width, it is rather small at 6 cm (might struggle to slice aubergines) but is good to start since the asking price is not too high. I am totally going to get the larger one too!

There are a lot of mandolin models available, and perhaps other well-reviewed ones are cheaper, lighter and even simpler to operate for what you require, but I have been satisfied so far with the sturdy design of this professional standard mandolin. Blade height is easy to adjust, and the mandolin is straightforward to operate and clean. The stainless steel blades seem particularly sharp and sturdy. Definitely purchase a pair of safety gloves to protect fingers and take the worry out of using mandolin.

I've always wanted a Benriner mandoline and now regret not having gotten it sooner... Absolutely amazing slices and sticks works well too. Maybe should have chosen the Super Benriner for a larger work surface, but the regular one is fine too

I had the older model for a good 10 years. This one is more engineered. I don't really use a lot so definitely see this lasting another 10 years. Easy to use, handy.

Perfect in every way this piece of kit certainly ticks all the boxes and is a must for any serious Chef or Cook.

Expensive... But really excellent! Even the daughter can now make her own slaw:) However one slight disappointment is that even a carrot stains the white plastic and since you're not supposed to put it in a dishwasher takes a little extra to clean it

Dal punto di vista della lama, della qualità costruttiva, della forma e della comodità di utilizzo non si discute, queste mandoline giapponesi sono le migliori. Da fare attenzione al formato perché ne esistono almeno tre dimensioni, differenti soprattutto per larghezza, quindi bisogna riflettere bene quale può far meglio al proprio caso. Comunque con questo formato che è il più piccolo ci affetto praticamente tutto; le melanzane larghe ad esempio basta dividerle in due prima di affettarle.

The black bottom rubber that is showed in the picture, did not came with the item as promise, so it was the only Tesoro get a new one, now I have two that can hurt my hand while slicing. Other that that the product is good.

No tiene nada que ver con otras. Tiene un corte increíble. Ofrece tres cuchillas más de corte estrecho (3 anchos diferentes). Si solo necesitas estos cortes y te lo puedes permitir económicamente, no lo dudes. Yo había probado otras y no tiene punto de comparación. Corte limpio y sin que suelte mucho líquido el vegetal.
