Yes it burns steadily without dripping as claimed. Very satisfied.

I use these candles in a small UCO camping lantern inside of my camping/hunting blind. The heat from just the 3 candles breaks the cold and do stay lit for about 9 hours.

There are no guarantees in life. Hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, floods are all around us and you should be ready when the "lights go out." Regardless what power companies say about their readiness before disaster strikes an area, electricity can and will fail sometimes. Electrical generators and battery lights are good, but when the gasoline for your generator is gone and all of your batteries are dead, it would be nice to have some type of light at night. These candles will do the trick. I have only used a few of them recently (2 hour power outage). They work fine. I put them inside some small drinking glasses so they cannot fall over. They burn virtually all of its wax so there is no dripping mess. Just remember - a candle is an open flame. Do not leave candles lit in an unoccupied room. Be careful of children, elders and pets. Make sure the candle is totally out when you are finished using them. And to be on the safe side, have a open box of baking soda (take the one from your refrigerator) nearby your lit candles. If a fire should develop, dump all the baking soda on the flames - this should stop many small fires. And finally if a fire should develop and you cannot put it out, make sure you have safe exit route from your home - better to be safe than a person in a body bag.

Candles are as expected. A reliable product. Fortunately have not had to use them yet.

I love UCO products, especially my candle lantern. It's so nice having a warm light and a little heat when needed. These refills obviously fit the UCO candle lantern perfectly and burn a long time. They have no odor, give a nice bit of light, and help reduce humidity in your tent. I always keep them on hand.

Works well

UCO is the best. I broke the glass of my triple candle, easily replaced. I live in south Louisiana where power goes out often. And its a huge peace of mind knowing I can fire up a lantern and at least warm some food and get some light. The candles perfectly fit and are easy to change

Took it hiking and it burned from 6pm to 7am in my uco lantern. Burns clean with no odors and is a good replacement for the value. I usually set the lantern inside my tent vestibule to cut down on condensation.

Firstly. I bought these from 'outdoor gear outdoor experts' and I received 7 packs of 3 original uco candles. I had assumed these would come just packed in a cardboard box, so was very.pleased when I discovered the original 3 packs and none of the candles have any damage to them. If you are buying these, then you will already know they burn very well and exceed 9 hours...

Ich hab versucht mit alternativen Kerzen als den originalen Ersatzkerzen billiger weg zu kommen, aber es funktioniert nicht gut und lohnt nicht. Ich hab normale Stabkerzen der gleichen Stärke besorgt und auf die Länge gekürzt, aber die die ich probiert habe, haben alle zu starke Dochte gehabt. Dadurch entsteht eine zu große Flamme. Es rußt sehr stark und es schmilzt auch zu viel Wachs und läuft über. Resümee: Die originalen Kerzen sind perfekt abgestimmt, sehr hell, rußen nicht und halten sehr lange. Sie sind also durchaus ihr Geld wert, auch wenn 3Stk für 10€ schon ganz schön heftig sind. Also 5* für die Qualität und 3 für den Preis.

Good candles that work for prolonged periods of time, as candle go that is. I’ve gotten up to 8 hours out of these. Others get longer so I wonder if things like altitude and humidity have an effect on how long they last. Point is that they last a long time, longer them most without the scents (stink) that most candle makers add these days. It’s bad enough that the power is out but then to suffer through the chemical stink, no thanks. While these do not have a scent I still feel bees wax candles are better, if you have to inhale any kind of petroleum product it’s not good for you and bees wax provides a natural soothing scent. That said they don’t last as long. I can justify having on in the BOB because they are light enough individually. For camping, we have little glass lanterns that we picked up at a foreign big box store years ago that these fit into nicely. The lanterns actually allow them to burn a little longer as there’s no wind blowing the flame around. Heat wise I can’t say that I have noticed them burning any hotter than another candle which uses the same size wick.

En otra ocasión, usé velas comunes y de cera de abeja, con el mismo resultado, un desastre con la cera que chorreó y para limpiarla, fué un relajo. No duden en comprar la original, o pasen la receta para hacerlas =)
