Worked great, Dealer wanted to charge me $300 🙄
My fob I believe was defective from the time I got my car this past March. I spoke to the third-party Leasor and they offered me no relief and said I should contact the Mazda dealership. I contacted the dealership and they wanted to charge me $300 for a new fob. The actual transmitter of the fabric fine it was just the plastic pieces that were defective and as a result, the buttons piece broke, and the key that goes inside the fob was lost from the plastic part constantly popping off. This product fixed all of my problems and also came with a blank key that fit inside the fob that I can now easily get made from the other key I have. Very happy with my purchase, considering it fixed my problems for under $20.

Excellent for Parts
This was perfect. My key fob was missing parts and I was able to use this for parts and replace worn and missing pieces. I can finally use the buttons on my fob again. Way cheaper than having to get a whole new FOB through the dealer. It was easy to take apart and looks like the OEM minus the Mazda logo.

Perfect fit!
One plastic part of my CX5 key broke. I decided to replace the whole case. Perfect fit! Looks like new. Excellent quality and the price is fair. But it requires DIY experience, because it was a challenging task. You will also need a small screwdriver.

Works Well
The item works well for what it is. The two issues I have with it. 1. Is that it's pre-assembled and it is a bit difficult to take apart without causing damage (broke a fragile clip when I was being careful). It would be a lot nicer to have it all disassembled in the package. 2. The battery cover does not have any rubber gasket around it. I ended up using the one from the old remote to ensure it's water/moisture resistant. Other than those two issues, it works.

Cheap
I ordered 2 of these. They arrived with no battery in them, no problem. But, these were very very cheap. The sides and end pieces were popped off. They would program either. Cheap junk, returned. Stay away!

Well made, fits perfectly
Fit exactly like it should:) we used this to replace the missing back instead of using tape to hold the key in. Over a year and it’s still holding up!

Pure quality
Pure quality, no Mazda sign on a side. Top part(where you attacking a ring) s not compatible with orginal one. So, partial replacement is possible but not for all parts.

Preventible wa$te.
The CX5 fob is cumbersome and the case plates tend to fall of, break or worst, get lost. This prevents all of that. Cost a fortune to replace OEM. This $ave me money!

Fit our existing Mazda CX-9 key perfectly. Great replacement for broken buttons, scratched key faces, etc.

Excelente!. La llave se me cayo y le paso otro auto encima. Una nueva me costaba ya programada de agencia más de 12,000. La desarme y puse esta nueva cubierta y funciono!. Un poco complicado el ensamble pero quedo casi como nueva. Pues no tiene el emblema, pero quedi super y me ahorre una muy buena cantidad.
