Versatile for health and skincare
I’ve been really happy with this spirulina. You only need about ½ teaspoon per drink, so the package lasts a long time. It gives a nice energy boost and blends well with smoothies too. I also use it for face masks, and it works amazingly - leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. Overall, great quality and value. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a simple superfood that works both inside and out!

Good stuff.
I recently turned 60. I'm not unhealthy but I do have high blood pressure. I just wanted to give myself a gift of health. So I researched and then purchased several powdered products. Wheatgrass, chlorella, spirulina, maca, moringa, and ashwagandha. I also bought goji berries which I ground up in my ninja and bee pollen. I tried mixing these in a smoothie but could barely choke it down. Now I mix about 2 tablespoon of each all together with a couple packets of monkfruit stevia sweetener. I mix a spoonful of this with applesauce every morning and it is delicious. Last Dr. visit blood pressure was perfect. I don't know what it is really doing for me but when the flu went around at work and everyone around me was getting it I did not get sick.

Finally found a way to take this ultra-fine powder .............
The very deep green of this product is beautiful. I'm glad to know this is made in tanks with clean water and not in the oceans! I ordered tablets for hubby, I tried the powdered version thinking I'd just stir up a little in my early morning hydration routine.....well, it is really fine and didn't want to mix into water by stirring with a spoon. Whirring in blender was too troublesome so I added the 1/2 tsp of chlorella/spirulina to my early morning coconut oil. The oil picked up all of the fine powder and I just snack on it or smear it over my scrambled eggs. I've also used the coconut oil and powder combination on warm toast. It's very tasty. I will order this again. Nothing not to like !

Swamp powder? Try it as a green soup.
Sure looks deep green and healthy, and I’ve read great stuff about the potential nutrition and detox qualities of the stuff. But I chose the powder, and found it made everything taste like a nasty swamp! (Hence the loss of one star, although inherent in the nature of the ingredients so possibly a little unfair.) I tried it in water, in cider water, with lemon juice and sweetener, in coffee, and in salad dressing: all awful. Finally I found a suggestion online to try it in hot broth, and that’s what works for me. I heat up some broth (half a mug or more—organic chicken broth in my case). I add a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar (not essential, but I needed a palatable way to take that, too). Also a drizzle of olive oil, some turmeric and garlic powder from my spice rack, and half a teaspoon of this green swamp powder. Then I blend it with a small handheld immersion blender/latte frothier. Result: healthy green broth, and not bad tasting! Of course the other option is to go with the pill form. But if I swallow too many pills it gets overwhelming and I tend to drop some. With this method, I don’t have to take chlorella/spirulina pills OR turmeric pills, and I get in my apple cider vinegar at the same time (supposed to help with insulin resistance & weight loss). And the broth helps me to comfortably delay my lunch for intermittent fasting. It’s a deep enough green to look very healthy, so if nothing else I definitely benefit from the placebo effect! 😊

Subtle, underlying support for Humans and pets.
This is a an important addition to my diet and that of my cats and dogs. It isn't a benefit you notice instantly, and may not notice it at all until you have stopped taking it for a few months. That happened to me when I ran out of it and forgot to order more. I rescued a cat that, after exam and testing, was positive for FIV (feline AIDS). I looked up information on feeding a cat with this disease and Chlorella was one of the additives recommended to add to their food. Other things were CoQ10 and L-Lysine (for eyes). This poor cat is so happy to have two meals a day and no more fights, that his FIV status has stabilized, all his hair has grown back, and he is going to be offered for adoption through a cat rescue org. I feel better taking Chlorella, and all our rescues have improved health with this easy to digest product.

Great Product
High quality - important to detox the heavy metals we've been ingesting through our tap water! Although the taste is a bit rough to appreciate and the powder doesn't mix that smoothly into water, I would still recommend this brand if powder is the route you want to go. If powder doesn't appeal to you or the taste sounds too much to bare then please note this brand also sells small tablets which can be swallowed like other capsule supplements. Cheers.

Gross tasting
It’s just not great tasting at all. Lol. I have to cover my nose and literally want to barf the entire time. I think I’m going to get empty pill capsules and fill them to get it in because I’m sure I can’t return and I still really want to use it for it’s benefits. I should’ve gotten the pill form! If you’re on the fence between this and the pill form, choose pill form ! Haha.

Yummi Powder
I purchased it thinking it was capsules but oh! is powder. I mixed it with water and tastes delicious. Spirulina tends to have a sea or ocean smell but this is odorless and perfectly can substitute soda or sugary juices. I love it!
