I have a jug that takes a larger than normal cap with a 4.5" id. is this cap 4.5" id or od? can you tell me where i can get the 4.5" id caps?

My cans are in a location that I will not return to until May of this year. Hence I cannot measure the lid. I would guess it is 4.5 ID though. You can call the vendor directly.

Is the center of this cap threaded for the filler hose/valve?

Yes. However it does come with a screw-in cap and gasket in case you simply use the tank for storage. I use some this way but have also converted one to include a filler hose.

Does this cap come with the gasket

the cap usually comes with gasket, I've ordered extra gaskets...even though I have original gaskets that are 5+ years old. I have 8 jugs with same caps
