I've never used propolis before so I didn't know what to expect. This is very thick and sticky. If you get it on your clothes, it probably won't ever come out. It stained my fingers and nails. It slides down the outside of the dropper so a bit of care is needed to avoid a mess. I tried applying with a cotton swab, but it stuck tight to it. I recommend it be further diluted with something else to use on skin. I have a lemon balm tincture I made and dropped a bit of this into it. The alcohol dissolved the propolis over the course of a week and now I have a nice lemon balm / propolis tincture. It is MUCH easier to apply to skin or to take internally at a lower concentration. I did follow one recommendation to place the propolis on bread and wrap it. I probably should have made the bread ball a bit smaller because it expanded quickly. However, it prevented the propolis from staining my teeth. It smells really good to me. Again, I have no comparison since this is my first experience with it, but I think it smells fresh and kind of delicate. I would purchase it again.

This is definitely sticky, like bottle says. Ridges in teeth will definitely get black if you don't mix it with some honey. I have high hopes for this helping me!

Rubbing Alcohol removes accidental Propolis staining. The bottle threading and dropper, both need to be wiped with rubbing alcohol regularly. If not, the propolis will seal the cap, like dried cement. Hope that helps some of you, as read in the comments. 💜 THIS is the 5-Star best of Propolis on the market. Been using the 70% loyally on chapped lips, cuts & cpap open wounds inside my nose for years. This is so thick that it closes air from open cuts, without sting. All of my wounds and cuts, heal within 12-36 hours! Just wish the price increasing stop! I started purchasing this at $10 -- now it is $23??? I may have to discontinue use, if it goes up in price again ....

I personally had no idea how terrible this stuff would smell or taste - even when taken as directed with honey...the astringent and bitter taste cannot be overpowered. But please do not let this prevent you from buying it. I ended up buying a bag of empty gelatin caps and filling those with Propolis. I highly recommend you do the same. I'm known to have an iron stomach and can usually tolerate most awful tasting things...but this was something I could not handle. In the future, I'll be purchasing Propolis that is already in pill/cap form.

This review is only for people who really understand what 🐝 products can do for you. I don’t use it as a food supplement, cause I eat real local honey. But, Propolis is the best in the world antiseptic. So, any issue on my skin or even oral acne I use a tiny amount to solve the problem. Works perfect. Would not recommend it to people with allergies to bee products.

This is very, very, thick, only gives you a very small amount in the dropper and once you get it out, it doesnt mix well w/ honey or any other liquids. After reading the reviews, I thought I would give it a try, maybe I could find a way to use it. But nope, I ended up throwing it away. I went to my local health food store and found a jar of Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen & Propolis and it is already mixed in honey. I can still taste the propolis in it (which is a very strong taste), but it is much more palitable since its already mixed in the honey. I can let it melt in my mouth and I can still get the vitamins and good benefits that all 3 give me. I don't have to worry about the mess that this propolis gives, it sticks to the spoon, the sink, your teeth, the glass...I'm not sure why you would get this liquid form, but I don't recommend it at all.
