When I first got these, I was very impressed by the brightness, fit and finish and overall build quality. I dropped them on rocks and concrete many times while using them, and never had any issues. They DO burn through AAA batteries pretty quickly, but OF COURSE they do at that brightness. But there are medium and low settings as well, which will stretch your battery life somewhat.But the most impressive thing I've seen....Last fall I was doing some excavating in our yard for a pool. The weather turned south on us sooner than usual, so that project went on hold until spring. Spring turned out to be pretty wet as well, so stayed on hold a bit longer. So once things settled down, I got back to it. While re-orienting myself with the situation, I noticed something with a bit of a satin-like shine to it on the ground. I went over, and lo and behold, it was my missing flashlight. It was about half-buried. The black finish on the exposed side was gone, leaving a light copper-colored finish behind. The buried side was still black. In all likelihood, I had run over it with the tractor at some point (at LEAST once) before the ground got soft, given where I found it. All in all, it had gone through a pretty rough 5 months.I picked it up, wiped off the mud, and bingo! It still worked! I unscrewed the bottom, and there was not a single drop of moisture in it, and no sign any had ever been there.So for around $8 each, it would be pretty hard to beat them. It's missing again, but if / when I find it, I'll attach a photo. Glad it came as a two-pack!

These suckers are bright. I got rechargeable batteries for them and they have a good life to them. The beam can be adjusted. I can go out on a dark night and take a clear photo with my phone of a house with just one of these. They are small, light, quality construction, reliable, and quite handy to have around.

This light is compact and has a very bright light. Small flashlight that will fit in your pocket easily. Has adjustable brightness.

I have used these flashlights almost daily for at least eight years. I am back for an additional order. One I dropped on the pavement and it never worked again. Most recently, I dropped one into the toilet for a second or two, and it never worked again even though I immediately took it apart and dried each component that I could dry. When the batteries are new, it shines very brightly; I do appreciate that. Also, because it is lightweight and not expensive to purchase I keep returning for more when one that I am using quits working. I have also given these as gifts to family members and highschool grads and all recipents have expressed sincere appreciation for the same features that I appreciate.

Flashlights are solid, not plastic and work as described. Ideal for auto and golf carts as they are compact, but put out a lot of light. I purchased the 3-pack and would buy again.

I needed a flashlight I could use to check the back yard (for coyotes) before I let the dogs out at night. This is perfect because it shines a strong light all the way to the back fence which is quite a distance. By sliding in a little bit the size of the lit area gets larger. It's very bright and a great deal!

I bought 4 of them so my assistant can have two for he and his wife. These are very very good lights. If yours isn't bright check your batteries. The strobe effect is very good for diorienting a would be attacker and the eyesocket or if you miss bridge of the nose is a great defensive technique. But you should run, probably. Do you fight or flight? Strobe either way so remember to turn it off on the third brightness on a security walk. The strobe seems to disorient more effectively than full light, but full light works. Also you can then send the help signal directly after you've loosened the eye from it's socket. People seem less prone to continuing an attack with eye problems than they do with a broken nose.You have my words!Taking some major stars away because I've only had it a month, the damn dome popped out today. I'd been trying to get to an emergency alarm and dropped the light on the metal stairwell. It didn't even drop on the dome, just the side, and ONE stair, grabbed it before it rolled off. Noticed today the focus was off. No lense. It had just fallen out while on the shelf. Survived the fall for the use but it cracked the dome and shattered the middle, no dome left. So much for durability. I've dropped my little keychain lights down these stairs and they still work, just they are little LED cheapo by the registers. I have another and ordered two more as they are good lights but basically I've managed to repair it and have a decent flood light.Also I've had a few of these, no problems, but the slider on this thing is tight. Unsure if there is a way to make it more smooth like my old green button. I'd have called the manufacturer but I've never gotten a good response from any company, and had another emergency tonight, work related so had to attach the dome. Probably voids some warranty. Good way tho, cheap silicone pops off, you probably glue it (don't do this btw, needs a specific silicone, didn't see a very good seal here, bathroom caulk is all I had and feels more stable but sadly the dome is cracked so it's just siliconed together.) Exterior is strong, dome seal and the lense are low quality, but I'll try the other one out while I wait for my orderEditOkay so after six of these I got two that slide appropriate, light has a blue tiny vs the pure white, but overall it's okay. Cheap for a reason but def a good light to keep around, just check the solder job on the springs, one was snapped on one side upon arrival, one was barely holding on, the rest seemed okay, lenses and seals were damaged on most of them, so I'll keep those two around, but won't order any more. Repaired the others and gave them as gifts outside of one that somehow fogged up, I'm not sure how, but it just fogged up like super glue or something had been applied. Either way, okay light, you'll probably like it if you aren't familiar with the torch crowd, but it's supposed to slide easily with your thumb as to not lose sight of the target. The rest felt like they had a seal broken or the metal was cut wrong. The two I have will do for the car, but I'll be replacing my torch soon. Decent little bezels on these just make sure they are tight! No optic silicone, just a flimsy rubber seal. And it is not water resistant. This may have likely caused the fog up as it was humid outside, high humidity, seemed to get less light but I'd assumed maybe the batteries were dying. Brought it inside and the lense fogged up. Still have it for a back up, but the first one cracked.Do not drop this light, especially if you have the handle, button, etc off. It dents from a minor drop

These 2 lights are surprisingly impressive for the price. They can use either 3 aaa batteries or a single 18650 3.7v. I explored that option and will need to try it. But the main thing is they work best on a high mah battery like the aaa 1100 mah or the single 18650. Granted a separate charger is required for the 18650.I discovered right off that A SET OF 650 mah aaa’s that I tried first gave a less brilliant beam. The beam of light is most impressive with the 1100 mah triple a’s. I am now really tempted to buy the ‘single 18650 3.7v 2500mah battery’ .The on off control and selecting 1 of the 5 modes or turning it off works just as per the instructions.I needed to clean the front glass with a lint free eye glasses cloth and small amount of invisible glass spray. But that was just me wanting a lens as clean as possible. It does appear the brightness is directly in ratio to the mah rating of batteries in use. Can’t see any reason these lights shouldn’t work for me when we have those regular power outages which are becoming more prevalent due to storms in our area. Now have enough lights for everyone while I try to start up the backup generator.Didn’t rate water resistance but can’t see them not performing well in blowing snow or blowing rain storms.
