I initially bought cheaper collars and regretted when the plastic broke within 6 months. For the price these are fantastic, very durable, very strong grip on the bar, easy to use.

Easy to lock in and stay locked

These collars are easy to lock and unlock. They seem a little more secure than spring clips/locks. They don't lock incredibly tightly, but the rubber/plastic inner sleeve/pad allows them to grip pretty well. So far they don't slip after locking, both on older US made bars and newer cheap import bars.
