I used this wire to make a cord for a communications receiver speaker. The wire is moderately flexible and has a nice PVC jacket. The inner wires soldered easily to the connectors that I used. Stripping was clean and easy with no fine wires breaking off during the process. This was a low voltage and low current application. The insulation thickness is more than adequate for this type of application.

Living in a rainforest in Alaska, the climate is extremely harsh and toxic for any and all wiring. All of the coated wire and other less expensive wire I've purchased on here over the years has all had to have been replaced by this stuff because of corrosion that has literally climbed feet up into the wiring sheeting. This stuff has proven to be like the good ole wire you used to buy 20-30 years ago. The outer black sheeting is certainly thick and you'll want a good pair of wire strippers with a hook on them to slice it back. Do not try this with a razor or anything else. It ain't worth slicing any of your digits wide open. But, it provides excellent protection for the inner wire.

Absolutely perfect for the function I required. Used in an outdoor environment for low voltage signal transfer and so far has held up extremely well. The only issue I had was insulation on the wires had a tendency to shrink back a bit when tinning the wire.

I bought this to wire up a 4 pin round trailer plug / receptacle. The plug has a rubber cap on the back with a hole that this round wire bundle will fit through with the help of a heat gun. The wire length is in fact 10 feet and the stranded 100% copper wire measures about .058 inches diameter or 16 gauge. The listing is accurate in all respects.

Excellent quality copper wire. The outer, black jacket is very soft, which contributes to its incredible flexibility. Because of this, I found stripping it to be a bit of a delicate process. I was not able to use my wire strippers on the outer jacket. I ended up carefully slicing the jacket about one inch length way on the black/negative side and then I peeled it like a banana. This is the best wire I've found on Amazon and I will definitely be buying more for future projects. Only wish I could buy this wire in 250 foot rolls. Great product and quick delivery. Very pleased!
