the IR lamp Makes a world of difference short-medium range (plus, mine is turned all the way sideways/left as to not wash out my shed area) the pics are before and after, notice the left side is well illuminated - im tempted to buy another and point it to the end of my garden. recommended for a long garden. and recommended to focus on a particular spot.

Lights up the area well for infrared. A good sturdy feeling aluminium case and a good length cable. Easy to setup.

I came across a post on Reddit where someone mentioned using an infrared illuminator to solve the tracking issues experienced with the PSVR2 headset when playing in the dark or low light with the new Steam PC VR adapter. Mine seemed to be very fussy about the amount light it wanted and I like to play in the evening without having bright overhead room lights on. I thought, you know what, for the money, lets give this a go. Screwed it the side of my wooden wardrobe about 2 feet above my head when seated at my pc desk and to the left, positioned it looking down on me and fired up F1 24 on Steam in VR with the PSVR2 ( think I may have mentioned that once or 3 times already, sorry about that lol ) . Well, I am happy to report, even with my 55in LG OLED screen dark, meaning no Yahoo homepage lighting the room the illuminator did the job with ease, you can see the little red infrareds come on and it just worked, racing in the dark with no tracking issues whatsoever. Whoever thought of this is a genius !!

The light may be ok, however, powering it is a joke. It has a wall wart type adaptor, and the lead is terminated by an inline plug, that connects to another inline plug on the actual lamp, the lamps lead is approx 8" in length. It has screw holes to fix to either wood, or brick, presumably at roof level. There is no easy way to affix this that is either tidy, or safe. My intention is to replace the 48" lead from the wall wart with something much longer, and remove the plug connection on the lamp, and hard wire something safely. Would NOT buy another.

We are using for an inexpensive (cheap) Near Infrared therapy device. It seems to work - although the coverage area is small when held right next to skin (for better power). Good for spot treatment.

Funktioniert einwandfrei und macht einen qualitativ sehr hochwertigen Eindruck auf mich. Angesteckt und läuft. Benutze es für mein VR Headset (Pico4 Ultra+Pico Tracker) um das Tracking zu verbessern und ich habe wirklich den Eindruck dass die Controller viel weniger driften als vorher, vor allem bei Spielen wie Beat Saber, aber auch im VrChat.

Installed 4 of these in 3 different locations, 2 in the 1st location(side yard North) at 20 & 40 feet, and one each in location 2 & 3. I had to install 2 in location 1(side yard north) because one was not enough to illuminate the area near my back gate. I ran 110 outlets in the attic to each location to power each illuminator. I'm really impressed with the build quality and price point of these illuminators. I also like that the power cable is routed through the mount, so no exposed cables. The brightness is not has bright as I hoped for (had to mount 2 at location 1) to get the illumination I wanted. The illuminator is adjustable, however not as easy to adjust as I hoped. The adjustment ring is hard to adjust. I had to put a small dab of silicone lubricant on the threads. One thing I noticed is that all 4 of my illuminators have the same SN..? The red leds are visible at night. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I have had these units for under a week with no issues, they come on automatically at dusk and off at dawn. I will update my review if I encounter any issues with these units. FOLLOW-UP 12/3/2019 I have had these IR Illuminators for 5 months now. They have performed well. I do have one small issue to report I found one of the 9 IR LEDS was not working on the first IR Illuminator that I installed in July. Even with the one dark IR LED I saw no decrease in the illumination on my back fence. I contacted Amazon and they gave me the email address to contact Tonton sales department. they replied back within 10 hours and are sending me out a replacement. ADDITIONALLY I have added another IR Illuminator in my backyard by my back door. You can view the before and after snapshots to see for yourself. I am raising Tonton from 4 stars to 5 stars because I am very pleased with the performance of these IR Illuminators and the warranty service

La vision infrarouge de ma cam Yoosee méritait un coup de pouce, et c'est chose faite, pour pas cher 🙂 Rapidement installé, ce projecteur infrarouge est de bonne facture. Il fait son poids, ce qui généralement est gage de solidité. Le pied orientable est en alliage et non en plastique tout comme le corps du projecteur. Le fil mesure environ un mètre, ce qui est pas mal comparé à des appareils qui parfois ont très peu de cable et sans connectique . Et en plus ici, l'adaptateur est fourni 👍 Mes voitures sont à 10m de la cam, voyez par vous même avant et après 😉 Capteur jour nuit pour éteindre les leds le jour. Pour le prix, faut pas se priver :)
