It’s great for EDC
Right now I’ve used it a tun. I love it. It works great for my EDC. Battery life lasts quite long. The brightness is perfect for the size. And it’s easy to use. I like flashlights where you don’t have to scroll through to get to the setting you want and or turn off. It remembers your last entry.

Bright light
Terrific little flashlight. The three stages of brightness is invaluable. It’s nice and small but it’s also sturdy and easy to grip. I’ve used the heck out of it already- it hangs by the back door so it never gets lost in a drawer anymore!

Almost perfect
This model replaced the MH12S. This model fixed the proud on/off button on the back that would switch on when you sit down if you carry it in your back pocket by adding a perfectly sized shroud that doubles as a lanyard tether. It also moved the pocket clip groove up so it sits deeper in your pockt. The only change that made it worse for me is the ultralow setting is now a 2-handed operation, and doesn't come back on in ultralow if that is where you turn it off. If I get used to it I will bump up to 5 stars, because if the ultra low isn't what you bought it for than it's a great light.

Unbelievably bright
Nitecore and Thrunite are the only two flashlight manufacturers that I completely trust the truth of their claimed output, battery life and throw. The MH12 Pro Tactical is no exception. Dont let the price tag dissuade you, it is worth every cent in quality, construction and ease of use. In addition Nitecore stands behind their products 100%. If you are looking for a compact AND extremely bright flashlight (3300 lumens) look no further the MH12 is the one you want.

Loooong throw
Very bright, high quality light. Excellent for those needing a narrow spot that shines a long distance. Not the best for mechanic type work which benefits from a flood-like beam.

Look elsewhere
I actually hate this flashlight, I had the original discontinued MH12 and thought this would be good. It was a disappointment... the light beam is odd, the highest output is essentially useless as it overheats and turns off after a few seconds. The hat clip broke super easy, and now after two years of light use this thing is having major issues. Now I have to PAY to ship it back to them to repair it and I don't even want this thing anymore.
