I'm so glad I chose these. My son is required to use a certain backpack with the school logo. The straps aren't well padded and it's been carrying many heavy books for 3 years now so the straps really dig into his shoulders. He's rather slight & bony so even when the rucksack was new it really hurt his shoulders.These pads have lots of little air-pockets which really do a lot to redistribute and buffer the impact of the load on my son's bony shoulders. He says it makes the bag easier to carry & is very glad I found them. I am may well order a pair for myself, as well!

Not good for shoulder bags
Very disappointed, used on a shoulder bag and eventually remover it as it kept slipping off my shoulder, not very good. Also the air pockets go flat and as this is the case then there is no use to them at all. They may work on a backpack but not good for a shoulder bag, also found the bag more comfortable when the pad was removed.

Recommended, does the job but needs to be thicker for heavier back packs
Well made, help reduce stress and aches from carrying my army backpack fully loaded ( around 15kg+) for a few hours at a time sometimes longer. Great for any back pack where the foam in the shoulder straps no longer provide cushioning or to simply to just add to existing padding to heavy back packs

Bought these strap pads for my daily purse/backpack. I saw on one of the products pictures that a woman had them on her leather purse/backpack and decided to try them. The straps on my bag are thin and kinda small and been needing support. Received the item, package looked like it had been a return with rips into the box already. These straps were slightly bulky but tried to use it for a day. These straps proved to be troublesome, since my straps are small I think the new straps wouldn't hold onto the thin material, and would twist oddly making me struggle to get into my bag and putting it back on. These are best for actual backpacks not purse/satchel backpacks.
