Just what I was looking for
It works well and isn’t too powerful. I have aquatic plants in my turtle tank including water lettuce and duckweed. I also have small fish and ghost shrimp so I didn’t want a filter that would blast the plants underwater and suck up the tiny fish and shrimp. This works perfectly because the flow is adjustable. I have it on one end of a 20 gallon long aquarium. The tank is 2/3 full with a basking shelf made of rocks. I put rocks under the spillway to disperse the flow and it works great. It’s quiet and does a great job keeping the water clean. It was super easy to set up and the price was right. It sticks to the glass with zero issues. A great product overall.

Great Product! No Complaints
Great filter! Wish I had known they had one this size with the UV light lol I just bought two of the bigger ones! Great product up and down! Checks all the boxes and I’ve had it for a while now

Really quiet
This a great filter for my low water turtle tank. It's very quiet and is doing a great job. I didn't give it 5 stars because the cord should be longer

I love that you can use these in low water level
I had gotten two baby Reeve’s turtles and I kept seeing that they are not known to be good swimmers and as babies, they shouldn't be in water any deeper than 2 inches and when I got them, I did notice that they don't float very well and to breathe, they prop their bodies up on things to stick their heads out of the water. I love that these filters are specifically made for low level water and I love that they can be upright so they take up less space in the aquarium. At first, I was using the turtle clean 40 that came with the reptihabitat kit, but it stopped working after a few days and I didn't like that it had to lay flat, thus taking up more space. So, I bought a second one of these. I was wondering if the turtles wouldn't like them because I read that they like slow moving waters, but actually I would watch them sometimes, stop underneath the waterfall and let the water beat down on them. Though, I did have to turn down the intensity to halfway on the knob so the waterfall wouldn't just pull them underwater. But I did put some extra river rocks in the waterfalls, plus an extra plant there, so they have something to grab onto while underneath it. Edited a month later: so, at first, for the first month I was feeding the turtles in their main tank to acclimate them to their new surroundings. I had to deep clean the tank at least every 4 days because the water would get so cloudy. Their food would get stuck to the bottom of the filters and block the grills. It looked awful. I think most of their food would get stuck to them. I didn't want to turn them off completely, so I would turn them down to the lowest setting, but the food would still get stuck. Because of the river rocks, I couldn't just scoop out all the leftovers. After they started getting used to me and their new home, I'll take them out now and feed them in a separate container. I haven't had to change the water in a week now and the water is staying crystal clear, running at the medium setting. I still plan to clean out their tank at least once a week, so there's no buildup of ammonia and the sort in there.

Not good at all!
I was very excited at first since it had some good reviews but at the end I was very disappointed. It doesn’t not do the job. I did a complete water change before putting it to work and into the second day water was filthy and smelly. I have a 40 gallon tank and only one turtle and the tank is not even filled up yet mu turtle was swimming on nasty water. I wanted to give it another try but I feel the filter is not up to the job for a turtle which creates a lot of waste. Unfortunately, I can’t return it since I threw away the box and the package to return. Will have to look for another option.

Suction cups don't hold much pressure
Pump works well and gets a lot of dirt out of water, but we are using it for a larger turtle and the turtle pushes the pump out of the suction cups almost daily. I guess it's mainly intended for small fish.

Great quality for the price.
Assembly was simple and easy. Size was as described. The noise level of the water drowns out the hum of the electric motor. Pretty durable so far and I have it running 24/7 for months now. Filter is a good design but the fabric filter is a little more difficult to clean after heavy use but is to be expected for the price. Great buy overall👍 pretty happy with it so far.
