I have an old miller arc welder that had short cables. i got these to add extensions when needed. they work good and lock together easily.

These seem functionally very solid, will work great for my LiFePo4 bank quick-disconnects, but man oh man, the smell is insane.. I would say if you get these, unpack them immediately and set them somewhere with a breeze to air out for...Im not sure, a long long time probably. If youre using them in a large open shop or something it might be OK, but in a small shed, or in a car, or etc, the smell is insane.

These are nice dinse lead terminals. They are solid brass with an interior copper sleeve that clamps down on the leads. I ordered the 300-400 amp and the male / female connectors + sleeves weigh just shy of 1/2 lb. These are nice solid chunks of hardware. I ordered these to have a quick-disconnect for a 200 Amp DC Solar System DIY project. They are well made and tightly lock together. They should be ideal for my project. One thing to note: The rubber boots STINK… not in quality – in smell! They have a terrible chemical odor, which I hope will dissipate by leaving them outside for a few days.
