Aftercut All in One Autumn Lawn Feed and Moss Killer 400m2 by Westland

I use lawn treatment products on a regular basis, but this is the first time I’ve used Westland Aftercut.My garden is 230 m2 and this 400m2 bad only just managed to cover the area.This despite applying with a rotary spreader( Scott’s rotary easy spreader) set at Westlands own recommendations of setting 26, and walking at a decent pace.Other brands that I have used that cover 400m2 easily cover my lawns and with an amount left over.Ive contacted the seller, who was very helpful, but advised me to contact Aftercut directly.I have done this and await their response.I have no issue with what the product does, just it’s stated coverage.Edit 13 10 21The manufacturer responded to my email in a positive manner.

I used the product exactly as the instructions set out - followed by a week of mild damp weather. The lawn has greened somewhat but the moss and weeds have been unaffected by the treatment. In previous years I have waited until spring to treat the moss with Iron Sulphate which works within a few hours allowing you to rake out the dead moss easily the next day. I have followed this up with a lawn weedkiller which has also been effective. In my opinion this product was an expensive waste of time and effort and I will not be using it again.Even the name of the product is misleading. You assume "Aftercut" means that you apply it straight after you have cut the grass - but you have to wait at least three days. If I could summon up the enthusiasm for the fight I would be asking for my money back but I will just have to put it down to experience.

I followed the instructions exactly + spiked the lawns and used a pushalong applicator on the correct setting - did kill of most of the moss didn't touch the weeds - very disappointed with this product - will not use again !

My darker grass is about 10 days after application. I didn’t use a spreader as I thought they were too expensive. Just put some pieces of wood down and stayed within them. Was a bit scared of over applying but I feel I did good.

Did exactly what it said on the bag and in the information on Amazon's site. Has cut back the Moss and strengthened the Grass. Can only hope that what it said about results in the spring come to pass.

Used this on a lawn and the feed works as the grass got a deeper green after three days but the moss doesn’t seem to have been killed even now after 4 weeks !
