These Twinkly customisable lights are amazing and even more amazing they are USB C and was able to wire them through my letterbox . The effects are amazing and nice and bright too. I highly recommend these lights

Took a minute to setup using the Twinkly IOS app. Uses Bluetooth for initial connection then uses Wi-Fi. Plays fine with my 1st gen pair of strings. Can be set to turn on & off daily, cycle through presets etc. Each light is addressable from white through all colour combinations. The presets can be edited such as the speed &/or colour then named for recall. Presets can also be rotated. Another important function is the ability to “map” within the phone app using the camera. This means you could zigzag up the front of a tree but still get a striped pattern as if the lights were wrapped all the way around it in a coil.

Easy to set up and lots of preloaded effects that are generally really useable. Would definitely buy again.

I bought these to decorate my child’s bed frame, replacing some Wiz fairy lights that have an unsightly black covering on their wire. These ones are perfect in comparison - the clear wire covering is much more attractive, the little stars are adorable, and the best thing about these is the enormous range of colours and effects you can use. They’re very good quality. I even have them set to be 1% brightness with a dark amber red colour, so they great as a nightlight that doesn’t interfere with sleep, just comforts and relaxes. I think the Twinkly app UI could probably be improved, but I don’t hold it against the lights themselves, which are brilliant.

These lights are fun and colourful, with all the traditional twinkly effects. They run off a simple USB-C plug, but this is not included. Setup was a breeze. They are quick to respond via Wi-Fi, seemingly stay connected to said Wi-Fi and are quite bright. The candy pearl shape also nicely diffuses the light, providing an interesting feature vs a traditional string set. How could they be improved? -- HomeKit support - why is this missing?! Such a shame to not be able to control using Apple's Home app and the twinkly app is a slight inconvenience in comparison. -- The lights split in the middle from the controller - i.e. it is 2 sets of a 100 string rather than a single 200 string set, which can be useful but is worth highlighting.

Easy to add to app, config and set timers with multiple colour and scene options. The LED's give a soft hue whilst maintaining multiple levels of brightness. I got a set for each of my daughters and they wrapped them around their bedframe. The lights automatically come on in the morning and gradually brighten to wake them. Fantastic product and getting the Christmas spirit going.

These are great programmable lights, but I was initially caught out a bit by the fact that they are 2 lines of 100 LEDs and not a single string, and also by the fact that they have a USB-C connector on the end to power them instead of a power adapter plug. As it turns out not having to supply AC mains has worked out great as they've ended up on the ceiling of our summer house so we can power them from a power bank when we want to use them without needing to run a mains extension lead around the garden. (Fortunately the WiFi is good enough that the phone and lights can still connect to our home network.) The lights and the app are easy to use and you can produce some great scenes and patterns. The app allows you to map the layout of the LEDs once you've fitted them so you can get a more accurate display. My only small gripe is the trailing cables aren't very long but it hasn't been much of an issue as I could just run the USB-C plug to a shelf and plug it into the power bank there.

Niesamowite lampki. Całą masą efektów świetlnych. 100 diód to trochę za mało, żeby odkryć ich pełen potencjał, ale i tak zabawa jest świetna.

Unless I was able to plug it in directly to the only USB C device that I have in the house, my Mac, I have nothing to plug it into. Who does? I don't know anybody who has a USB-C block just lying around. I had to go and purchase a whole separate attachment. It should've come included. Anything else I need to know, now that I have ordered the separate attachment? How do I hook this up to Wi-Fi?
