2 months later useless
Gauge was the first thing to go, then the locking mechanism then the hose. Just sent money to the landfill

Works well & portable
I needed this to inflate the tires on my bike, which it did perfectly adequately. I was pleased to find that it is also very lightweight and small and it easily fits inside my backpack, meaning I can take it with me on bike rides. This has come in handy more than once. It also has a collection of other nozzles that can be attached to inflate balls and inflatables. I happen to have several large inflatatables and this has worked well for pumping those up as well. The only thing is that I don't quite get the little silver kickstand thing; the hinge is far too loose to stand the pump up and it doesn't work very well to hold it in place with my foot while I pump. I just put one foot on the side of the pump itself instead. So I'm not sure what that's for. But overall it's a useful little pump and I'm pleased with it for the price.

It works surprisingly well
This air pump is a small and flimsy compared to an off the shelf pump from just 20-30 years ago; I guess it's inflation + the race to the bottom. The pump does what it's supposed to do and comes with an excess of accessory attachments; some of which I have not seen before. It seems fairly durable and elegant in its simplicity. The gauge is absolutely useless and doesn't tell me at all what my tire pressure it. The needle inside will flick somewhere in the area of where you are at in terms of pressure before flipping back to zero. The pump is great, the gauge is a waste of money and costs the item one star. After much pounding, mashing, squishing, and kicking on a lawn mower tire; and a whole lot of pumping later, I managed to get my tires re-inflated for the winter. It's a handy item to have on hand and saved me a lot of time, labor, and money; nevermind that my tires will need air every winter and this is a must.I recommend the model without a gauge on it; use the extra $ to get a proper gauge.

It exploded
This was very difficult to use, but I got the hang of it eventually. (PSI’s over 100 require a lot of upper body strength). But we just pumped my tires up to 110 and the gauge actually popped off!! It sounded like a gunshot going off. We screwed the gauge back on thinking that perhaps we had allowed it to become unscrewed. We tried it again and it popped off again, this time destroying the gauge from the pressure. Again, we were just trying to get to 110. My tires can go up to 120 and the gauge goes up to 160. Ridiculous and of course it’s been too long to be able to return it. Seems cheap and therefore dangerous, we are lucky the pieces didn’t injure us when they flew off.

I'm up in the air on what I think about this pump
From all the reviews, this seems to be a great little air pump that is versatile for so many things. I bought it because my lawn tractor desperately needed air from sitting all winter and early spring. One of the tires was just flat as a board. ~ To explain why I'm up in the air about this pump, I need to mention that I did have a bicycle pump probably about 20 years ago. An old metal pump that only had one function, to blow up tires. One day, after my car had been sitting for about 4 days, I go out and the back tire is almost flat. And me being me.... that spare wasn't in much better shape. What was I going to do? Then I thought I'd use that old bike pump and see if that would work. Believe it or not, it was not difficult to pump and I aired the tire up quickly and easily so I could go and have it repaired. I wish I still had that old bike pump. They don't make them like that anymore, so I looked at lots of pumps. This one stuck out. Lots of good reviews. So I bought it. It seems like a good little pump that is very versatile. So I hooked it up to the lawn tractor tire, and I pumped and pumped. Vigorously! There was air going into the tire, could tell by the pressure gage attached to the pump. But I had to continuously pump. I'm 20+ years older but I'm not in bad shape, I should have been able to fill the tire. Maybe if I had jacked the tractor up, it could have made things easier, but I didn't have a jack to do that. I finally gave up. And the tire was still almost as flat as a board. Point is..... you have to continuously pump (I believe). I think this pump possibly could have done a good job. It does have all the other needles for other applications, it seems to be made well, it does have lots of good reviews, but I just had to mention that it wasn't the best for me. So three stars. I'm sure I'll use it on something else someday, I will be keeping it.... because it does seem like it could work on other things.... like balls and bike tires. It wasn't that expensive, has a good price point. But I don't think I could ever pump up a car tire with it.... like I did with my old pump.
