v1rtus Bronze Glitter Paint Crystal Additive 100g for Emulsion Paint - for use with Interior/Exterior Wall, Ceiling, Wood, Metal, Varnish, Dead Flat, Matt, Soft Sheen or Silk Paints

This product is amazing! I added it to a 2.5 liter tub of purple paint and stirred it in before rollering it on to my dining room wall. It gives great, even coverage and sparkles so much just after one coat on a white wall. I am planning to do another coat when I get the time but it doesn't really need it, I just want to make sure I haven't missed any bits around the edge where I did the cutting in. I would definitely recommend this product but do advise you make sure you read the instructions properly and would not advise you add the whole packet to any less than 2.5 liters as it would make the wall too rough and glitter overload!

The media could not be loaded.  Lovely glitter, mixes really well into paint I used 1 and half sachets in one 2.5litre pot of paint, I used grey paint and silver glitter, it’s very sparkly but shows more when the sun shines on it

The media could not be loaded.  I ended up using 2 bags of silver and 2 bags of black in 1 liter of charcoal grey. This may sound excessive based on the ratio recommendation but the effect is absolutely stunning. Only used to cover one wall, with the other 3 walls white.As other reviews have said, it will take 2 coats to get an even coverage. A single coat looked very patchy.

This is absolutely brilliant stuff! Exactly what I wanted and immediate effect with no need to buff. The photos really don't do it justice at all. I looked at all sorts of glitter sachets and the previous reviews and pics helped me decide in this. I'm so glad I did. My friend did the painting for me and loved it so much she's doing her dining room in the same way

Item delivered on time and we'll packaged. I heard many mixed reviews so was hard to gauge. However I took the plunge and the results very good and considering I am pretty hard to please. Ok.the first time used I gave it to a decorator to do for me..hallway and reception area.Used Dulux pure white vinyl silk 10litres believe he used 5 packets..initially I was not happy as unless I looked hard I could only see a shimmer effect. However the key thing to note the lights have to be bright and sunlight. I purchased another batch and did a house I was renovating used cheap b&q Magnolia vinyl silk 10 litres and mixed in 4 packs..surprisingly it came off a lot better and as soon as you enter the room you see the effect immediately..one thing to note you need to really stir it very well if not some areas will come out grey blotchy. I tried to buff it after but did not notice any difference or get more sparkly affect..definitely using again as friends have commented on what a nice and classy look. Now doing the whole house in white with the glitter including the ceilings. Have noticed that on some of the skirting boards done with white gloss the glitter has managed to get on it.still brings a nice shimmer effect. Do not apply the glitter in the roller tray and stir ....mix it very well in the paint tub.

Used it as soon as it came through the door. Made my flat looking bedroom wall start dancing. Order different colours for another room straight away. Simple to use with outstanding results. Photos do not do it justice.

My daughter wanted glitter walls in her room, I wasn't sure which was the best way to achieve a subtle but sparkly effect. I mixed the glitter with violet white emulsion and the result is perfect!!! Initially I poured the glitter in the paint popped on the lid and shook the tin. DON'T DO THIS!! The glitter stuck to the lid and I was totally gutted. I used a brush to collect said Glitter and put it back into the paint then used a wooden spoon to follow the instructions on the packet. I am so glad I did, I have only done the one coat and it is beautiful. I am just waiting for it to fully dry before buffing the walls to make it that little bit extra sparkly. I used a roller to apply and a brush for the cutting in. Try it you will not be disappointed.

I bought this after reading rave reviews. I have to say I think some of the reviews are fake. I am an experienced decorator and do everything as per the book so to speak. I wanted to create a subtle glimmer in the alcove wall of my bedroom where the bed goes and has spotlights (I thought that these would enhance the glitter but they do not). I didn't want to re-paper again as its expensive and time consuming so thought I would just paint over and use this stuff. All I can say is that it is actually a lot of money for the effect it achieves.Firstly you will only notice this when a light or the sun is on it and even then it is hard to see at all. During normal daylight you wont notice it at all. I painted my wallpaper with three coats of white to make sure there were not patches. I then purchased a cheap thin emulsion to mix this with so that it would show up more. The first coat was actually not too bad but still not what i would say noticeable. I then purchased a second packet and went over it again, sadly all this has done is actually cover up the first coat so now I cant see anything at all. £16.00 is actually a lot of money for something that has no effect all. I wish really I had just invested £30.00 on a roll of proper glitter paper. Bear in mind also one packet only mixes to 1 litre of pain which is hardly anything at all. Therefore a full room would cost about £60 £70.00 without the paint.When mixing I would say add the paint to a small amount of emulsion at a time. if you pour it on the top of a litre of paint it will only mix to the top of the paint and not the bottom.Personally not impressed at all. Invest in a proper paper which is probably what I am going to have to do anyway now. Not worth the money at all.
