Tepe Interdental Brushes Orange 0.45mm 25 Pack

I have found this size (no 1/orange/0.45) the best of the range for dealing with inter-dental control of plaque without making your gums bleed every time (which you may experience with 1st use or if you choose a stick too large to insert between your teeth. Best i've found to dip in capful of mouth-wash before every insertion and rinse under tap after insertion). EDIT:- A lot of people seem to be reporting these sticks breaking in use .The best action of insertion between teeth I have found is to dip the brush in a capful of mouthwash and insert the brush tip against gum and tooth gap and holding the handle work the point in a very gentle circular action with emphasis on gentle whilst applying pressure on the handle so as to feed the brush in gradually. When half way in the brush can be gently pushed in and out of the gap for maximum effect. After this rinse brush under trickling tap and dip again in mouthwash and repeat procedure for next gap. Finally rinse mouth out with left over mouth wash. I have been able to make a stick last a whole month using this method so perhaps some people are being too aggressive with their cleaning program.Take your time and gently is the best method. Not very economical in a pack of 6 and you only get one brush hygiene cover with the 6 pack where-as every stick in the 25 pk gets its own cover. I have found this size harder and harder to get in the shops so made sense to check Amazon for a supply. Very pleased with supplier and delivery ordered Thursday, told delivery between Monday and Thursday next week but came today Saturday. In reality best to discard once or twice a month depending how heavy a user you are but if you use longer you may stand the risk of filament holder (the thin twisted wire that holds the bristles)snapping off between you teeth! A much better fully controllable alternative to flossing which now seems to be attracting bad press as a thing "not to do"anymore. Much more hygienic way of cleaning in between your teeth and has invited favorable comments from my dentist now every time I go. Recommended.

I find this size of brush really hard to find in the shops so it’s great that Amazon sells these. The brushes themselves are really easy to use due to their long handle - they’ve definitely encouraged me to spend more time flossing each day. The colour coded system is also very useful if you need to use multiple sizes, which I do. These are great quality and don’t break down after one use. A secondary use I’ve found for the brushes is applying whitening gel to retainers, it gives a really even coverage!

All good, but on the front of the pack it says "For professional use only. Not for resale". The brushes themselves are fine but I would like to know the meaning of this mysterious comment. Have I bought something which should not have been for sale to the general public ?. Such a conclusion is hard to avoid. Not remotely bothered, but it would be interesting to know. Also why is such a comment not shown on the image of the product ? Curiouser and curiouser. Why can't things just be as they appear to be ?

I've been using TePe brushes for just over 6 months now, and my teeth have never been in better health. I had my 6 month dentist check up the other week and I basically got an A* from her! She could tell straight away I'd been using them. I had no plaque, didn't need a scale/clean, and all my gums received the 'zero' score when prodded with the tool, the best score you can get. I wish I'd started using these years ago, I'd probably still have my wisdom teeth and no fillings. You can see the food they remove from the gaps every time you use them, I can't believe I used to leave all that between my teeth! I really recommend buying a few colours and finding which ones work best for your teeth. I've ended up mostly needing only two colours (orange and yellow), plus a grey for a couple of the largest gaps. I also recommend buying the angle versions. I cannot use the other ones on my back teeth, and the angle ones work fine with front teeth too. This 25 pack is easily the best value to get, and they are genuine TePes with official packaging (despite what the picture shows). I cannot recommend these enough.

These brushes clean between your teeth in a way that floss and a regular tooth brush can't reach. It makes my mouth and gums feel really good and clean. I've always had trouble with deep pockets around my teeth - in the 4-6 mm range - ideal is 2-3 mm. I used these brushes once a day for 6 months and all of the pockets are now 2-3 mm. Not a single 4 or higher! That's nothing short of miraculous. Had I known about these brushes 20 years ago, I probably would never have needed gum surgery and would have saved thousands of dollars in surgery fees.

Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt total. Normal kauft man 5 Stück für 5-6 €. Hier sind es 25 Stück. Die Bürstchen sind sehr gut zu handhaben, würde ich in dieser Verpackung wieder kaufen.
