So far so good. Works great.

Not even 6 hours into having my pixel watch my puppy ate the charger. I was, as anyone would be, pretty upset I was looking at a $30 charger replacement. I did so much searching, looked at many reviews and was beginning to lose hope. That was until I stumbled upon this charger. This thing really works. It's an off brand cable, but it feels literally the same, and charges just fine. The charging time is a little slow and the watch does get a little warm but it definitely is an off brand one that works!! It was genuinely a life savor for me.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Seemed like it might have been a craps shoot based on the reviews. Turns out, it was. Only charged my watch (partially), once. Now I can leave my watch on this charger all night and it only lights up the charging icon. The fact that my watch recognizes it makes me think that it doesn't matter that this isn't a Google product. It's just crappy.

My brother gave me a watch that he got free with his phone upgrade, no instructions so thank goodness for Google. After almost 2 years of constant use I needed a new charging cord because of a break in the wire. I looked on Amazon compared watches and chargers and thankfully picked out the right one and only $8.99.

This thing worked great for a few days but then I went to grab my watch off the charger and it was STUCK to it.... then realized the charger and my watch were nearly on fire they were so hot. I almost thought this thing fried my watch... I almost lost it. Gave it a while to cool down and it powered on thank god. You can see the residue on the back of the watch too that melted through the charger. You can see whatever inside bubbled up and melted. I could easily see this potentially causing a fire. The charging brick I was using was an Anker 40W 2-Port PIQ 3.0, PowerPort III Duo Type C Foldable Fast Charger as well. I can't imagine it was the brick that caused this, especially an Anker-branded one that I frequently use other cords with as well. This product just seems cheaply made hence the price. I ordered an official replacement charger from Google. I recommend you do the same so you don't melt your watch.
