Quality product that should only be fitted by a competent person
I purchased this to replace an old item that had been in use since the house was built in 1969. It is easy to install but should not be carried out if you are not competent concerning the safe fitting of electrical items. Of course, it is essential that the mains supply is cut off to fit this switch. You must have an electrical detector that gives a warning sound when electricity is present so you can check to know for sure if the electricity supply is off and the fitting is safe to work on. They are reasonably cheap to buy. I was trained in electronics and electricity so am competent and fitted lots of electrical items in a safe manner over the years. I would not want to undertake this if I had not been taught about electricity. It is better then to get an electrician to fit this for safety. The switch quality is good and fitted nicely in place of my old one. it fulfills its function of switching off the supply to an immersion heater.

Good Looking Switch
Previous wi fi switch burnt out so have gone back to a conventional switch. Hopefully this wont go up in a puff of smoke. Good to have Immersion Heater printed on the switch too.

Excellent replacement. Would buy again.
Needed this to replace the broken switch for our immersion heat element for the hot water cylinder. Was perfect. Would def recommend.

It broke before use!
Unfortunately when I carefully tried to remove the tab for the cable entry, the whole corner shattered off as has happened to others. This item is not fit for purpose considering the safety standard needed for such a product. I’ll pay more attention to reviews in future.

Lasting Well
Still going strong after a year; though the neon light has faded quite a bit.
