Preamble: I bought this not for cheating, which seems to be the main reason people buy this, but simply for the ability to use MnK for all games on PS5. And for those of you who would say that this in and of itself is cheating, I say "you should see me play". I still suck just as bad as I do with controller, I just get less frustrated... I have a deformed spine with pinched nerves which cause small spasms and inhibit muscle reaction time, both of which make it very hard to play games in general, and I just find it easier to control myself, both physically and mentally, when using MnK - and the XIM Matrix allows me to do just that. So I love the fact that it even exists, regardless of its original intention. I just got it a few hours ago, and I only tried it on two games (BF2042 and BFV), but it feels great (!!!) ... and if there's any input lag I sure can't feel it. The setup: This was a bit of a hassle, but in the end it was b/c I didn't understand the instructions correctly. Once I realized my mistake it was smooth sailing. First you need to update the firmware on PC, which was the simple part. Secondly you need to download the app to your phone (and enable bluetooth for the connection to the XIM device). But this was also super simple. Then comes the remote play connection which was where things started giving me trouble. However, it was short lived and as soon as the connection was established everything worked great. You also need to ensure that the game you're gonna play has the correct settings for the device to work properly (there's a link to a page with additional settings, which I definitely recommend, since it made a huge difference for me (for the games I tried out)). Lastly you need to fix the sensitivity settings and button mappings... the sensitivity was no issue, once I realized that a higher number equals lower sensitivity, but the button mappings are quite cumbersome. However, any and all settings I changed were immediately reflected in-game, so it was still quick to confirm as working. Good to know (maybe): I have a network switch which I use as a middle step between the router and the PS5 (it's on the table next to the PS5), and I just plugged the XIM into that - which is how the XIM and PS5 communicate to each other. I also noticed that I can't enter PS5 into rest mode when the XIM is powered on (while still connected at least), so I have to unplug the USB-C power cable to be able to do that. It's not that bad, but it's still a bit of a hassle. Summary: All-in-all I am super impressed, and I absolutely love the XIM Matrix! I have yet to find out about the overall quality/longevity of the device, but for the price I am definitely expecting it to last many, many years. Should this not be the case, you can count on me revising this review. But for now it's an easy FIVE SHINY STARS ✨✨✨✨✨

Xim matrix works as it’s intended. Most people don’t know how this product works buyers think it’s plug and play but it isn’t you need a config and have to set the sens and keybinds according its intended to fully utilize it’s potential.Seller delivered it a day early than the intended delivery date thanks for that.
