UPDATE...After having this item for a bit and using it I’m glad I did NOT glue the poles in. Because it’s light weight it breaks down easily to go where I go when I need to pack it up and sew at a friends house. Truly recommend especially if u travel! It’s ok. It’s plastic so it’s light weight and moves where I need it to go in my tiny space. It does what I need and does not catch the thread however when I pick it up it falls apart so I may have to glue the pieces on. It works and I’m on a budget. I like that it holds 3 spools of thread and has trays for additional bobbins and pins.

This is great. It holds large thread spools and they stay put on the spinner. The guide works well. I leave all three of them threaded on this thread stand, so it is easy to guide on the machine. My only complaint, is that I found the same Thread Stand 2 days later for half the price on a china site that I shop. SO if you want local, this is great. They deliver it in a timely manner, it is what it says it is.

Good stand but the Brother thread doesn't fit because of the way the spool is made. Worked perfect for my Brothread spools

Useful. Can remove stand sticks to adjust for larger spools. Can tip over but generally doesnt.

Very lightweight. Kept falling over so I had to put sticky under the base to hold. Inexpensive and cheaply made but holds and feeds thread like I need it to. Probably will replace one day with a heavier base option.

Update: contacted by seller who wanted to refund product because of review below and 3 stars. Said it was not necessary. They then asked if they could send me thread for the trouble. Unnecessary but said sure as they had been insistent. After I agreed they asked me to amend the initial rating. They never sent the thread but asked me later why I had not changed the rating. I told them I thought I should receive the thread first. It never went anywhere else. never got the thread. Had I been sent the thread promptly instead of waiting for me to change the review it might have felt different. I had felt that it was an okay price initially for a cheaply made product but have since purchased a heavy cast iron thread holder that was cheaper, so much for the idea that I saved money. And it feels like all the seller was interested in was buying a better review. If that is all it takes then reviews here cannot be trusted. I want to be able to trust the qualtiy of what i purchase on Amazon... The product is inexpensive, quality to be expected for price. It holds the cones but is very lightweight, so I have noticed it walks when I’m sewing, especially with the embroidery unit. I wasn’t sure how effective it would be so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something and then not find it useful. It is useful even at the quality level being just above fair. I use the cones often because they are more cost effective and without a holder the thread can become very, very messy. It came in a very small package and was simple to assemble. I do not regret the purchase, but when I am ready to replace it I will look for something heavier and higher quality

I’d read some different reviews regarding this thread stand, some said it was flimsy, too light, and hard to assemble. I however found the stand to be perfect. I also liked that the color wasn’t as bright as the picture. It was very easy to assemble, I didn’t even need the instructions I found printed on the box it came in. The parts fit snuggly together and it fits nice thick spools which is mainly what I needed it for. I needed a thread stand for my tiny serger as it doesn’t fit very large spools and I am using the serger for batch mask making. I’m overall happy with the stand. Also, to some who may have concerns regarding its weight, I had no problem with it falling over during use. It stands on its own and the extra weight of the spools give it even more stability. I’m very happy with my purchase. Would recommend, especially if you have a Singer Tiny Serger.

J'ai été déçu par ce support de bobines. Bien que léger et facile à transporter, il manque de stabilité. Les bobines ont tendance à bouger et le support bascule facilement, ce qui est très frustrant lors de la couture. De plus, la qualité des matériaux semble un peu fragile. Je ne le recommanderais pas pour un usage régulier

too light, it falls over so I put bean bags on the base. I would like metal eyes to slip the thread through instead of plastic.
